When Jouer launches their first concealer, there was a lot of buzz and excitement and now they’ve launched the brand new Jouer Essential High Coverage Concealer Pen.
Their original concealer is your typical liquid concealer with a doefoot applicator, however this new concealer is in a different format – but is it any good? Carry on reading to find out more!
Jouer Essential High Coverage Concealer Pen

The Jouer Essential High Coverage Concealer Pen is £20 on BeautyBay and is available in 25 different shades. The design is completely different to their original concealer, with a gold metallic effect pen style with a twist up solid concealer stick. It only contains 2.5g which really is a tiny amount of product for £20, as it won’t spread as well over the skin like a liquid or cream concealer would.
Beautylish included swatches of all 25 shades, and as you can see from the finish, the Jouer Essential High Coverage Concealer Pen looks to have a glowy finish so it might not work for those with oily skin.
The swatches look very shiny, so hopefully the shine doesn’t mean that the formula will just move around on the face and that you can still set it and keep the glow.
Due to the small amount of product you get, it’s not a concealer I’d consider trying myself but if you do prefer a solid concealer stick format, you might enjoy the new Jouer Essential High Coverage Concealer Pen if you can find a decent shade match.
