The Jouer Cosmetics Sheer Pigment Lip Gloss in the shade Parisienne, is a product I bought back in March as part of the Beautylish Gift Card Sale Event.
I’ve tried a few of the Jouer lip products in the past, thanks to the Jouer Best of Nudes Lip Creme Collection which was part of their holiday collection in 2017, but I hadn’t tried any of their lip range since then.

Jouer Cosmetics Sheer Pigment Lip Gloss
“It’s A Wash: Our Sheer Pigment Lip Gloss is shiny but doesn’t overpower, sheer but delivers the perfect wash of color.
Lightweight and anything but sticky, this gloss glides on smoothly with a subtle vanilla scent. Made in eight shades that range from peachy nude to bright red, the sheer formula also gives hydrating benefits with nourishing Coconut and Jojoba Seed Oils.“
I feel like Jouer are really underrated as a brand these days, and people used to rave about their products all over YouTube maybe five years ago, but now you don’t hear about them as much, which is a shame.
I managed to get hold of the Jouer Cosmetics Sheer Pigment Lip Gloss in the shade Parisienne for just $9.50 in the Beautylish sale, when normally it’s $19 which is a bargain. Especially as the price is on par with what you’d pay for glosses from Maybelline or L’Oreal within the drugstore.
The Jouer Cosmetics Sheer Pigment Lip Gloss is packaged within a rectangular shaped tube, which is clear with a black square lid and a doefoot applicator.
There are nine different shades to choose from within the Sheer Pigment Lip Gloss formula, and I chose Parisienne as it looked beautiful in the images on the Jouer website.
The Parisienne shade is described by Jouer as being a subtle, warm pink, and I feel like that’s pretty accurate. It’s a sheer gloss, but it does offer some pigment, which is pretty much the natural shade of my lips.
It’s such a perfect gloss for everyday when I don’t want to wear lipstick, or lip liner, and it feels comfortable and balmy on the lips. It claims to be non-sticky, and I’d have to agree with that, and I’d definitely be up for trying some more shades.
