Jouer have been sharing some sneak peeks over the last few days on their summer collection, and the Jouer Champagne and Macarons collection has finally been revealed in all its glory, and it’s available right here. I really love Jouer, so I was excited to see what their newest collection was all about.
Jouer Champagne and Macarons Collection
The Jouer Champagne and Macarons Collection was supposed to launch in the spring, but its launch date was pushed back due to the global crisis, and it does definitely look like a spring collection. It must mean it won’t be long until they launch their summer collection too.
This collection is absolutely beautiful from the motivational messages on the cardboard box packaging, through to the product designs and shades too.
“This gorgeous collection was inspired by Marie Antoinette and the femininity of the Rococo era. It includes a high pigment eyeshadow trio set that looks stunning in any color combination, two face palettes mood-boosting blushes, bronzers, and highlighters, 3 high-shine lip glosses and a new Shine Balm shade inspired by the statement making shades of gilded Rococo era France.” – Jouer
The Jouer Champagne and Macarons Collection has launched today on the Jouer website and Beauty Bay right here.
The Jouer Champagne and Macarons Collection consists of the following;
- Jouer Face Palette – two shade options in Cheeky Crush and Sweet Cheeks $34
- Jouer Eye Trio Four Piece Set – a box containing four different eyeshadow trios $42
- Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer Lip Balm $18
- Jouer Essence Sheer Pigment Lip Gloss – in two shades $17
- Jouer Essence Shimmer Lip Gloss $17
The packaging of the boxes is stunning, with amazing floral designs and the boxes are all pastel pink or white with gold foil detailing. It is such a pretty, feminine collection which would have been perfect for a spring collection launch.
The biggest star piece in the Jouer Champagne and Macarons Collection has to be the four piece eyeshadow palette set in Irresistible, Tempting, Luscious and Sumptuous. With a box designed to look like a little box of macarons. Inside the box there are four circular eyeshadow trios, and each trio features a different colour story.
The four quads are completely different with two that are more colourful, and two which are more neutral. They remind me of Ladurée macarons, and I think that’s probably the inspiration for the collection.
There’s also one lip balm which is the shade Shimmering Champagne, and the three glosses are Peal, Parisienne and Feministe. I’ll update this post when more information is revealed, but it’s going to launch on the 14th of July.
*BIG NEWS UPDATE: The Jouer Champagne and Macarons Collection Eyeshadow Trio Set has been recalled due to issues with the eyeshadows cracking, and they will now not be part of the collection at all.*
