Jeffree Star Cosmetics fans will be excited to know Jeffree Star Skin is almost here! Jeffree has been teasing the launch of his skincare brand for over three years, and due to the global crisis, the launch date was pushed back several times.
Lots of beauty brands have had to deal with delays and issues with the manufacture of beauty products over the last couple of years, but it’s finally time for the Jeffree Star Skin skincare brand to launch.
The Jeffree Star Skin skincare brand was first announced in 2020, so it’s been a long time coming, and the brand will be launching on the 25th of February, so we don’t have long to wait at all.
There’s going to be a Jeffree Star Skin reveal video coming on Saturday, on the Jeffree Star YouTube channel, where he’ll be going through all of the products within his starter skincare collection.
There are going to be seven products launching on the 25th of February, which Jeffree describes as being a full skincare routine, and are said to reflect Jeffree’s everyday skincare essentials.
Jeffree Star has reviewed skincare products on his YouTube channel for years, from all different price points, and Jeffree felt like venturing in to skincare was a natural progression for his brand.
Let’s take a look at some of the products launching in the skincare range…
The first product which will be launching as part of the Jeffree Star Skin skincare line is the Jeffree Star Skin Morning Dew Hydrating Eye Cream, which will be $24, and a video has been shared on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Instagram account, teasing the new skincare product’s launch.
The Jeffree Star Skin eye cream has been formulated with skincare ingredients such as red algae, vitamin C and caffeine, to help firm the skin around the eyes, whilst also reducing puffiness, and brightening the whole eye area.
This eye cream has been designed with a cooling metal tip applicator, to help with the puffiness. The tube and applicator actually reminds me of the Benefit Puff Off Eye Cream, except that eye cream had an iron shaped applicator, whereas this one is rounded.
Next in the Jeffree Star Skin collection is the Jeffree Star Skin Magic Star Hydrating Moisturizer, which is $28. It’s been made with niacinamide, sugar-derived squalene and also apple extract, to help with hydrating, brightening and sculpting the skin.
We have to wait until Saturday to see the other five products within the collection, and I’ll be sure to update this post once more information is shared…
