The Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bags launched for summer 2021, and I decided to pick one up as I was placing an order for some of the newer shades of the Danessa Myricks Beauty Twin Flame Duochrome Eyeshadows.
I have had one of the Beautylish x Jeffree Star Mystery Bags before, back at the start of the year, and the contents were pretty good. So, if you’d like to find out what’s inside my Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bag Summer 2021, keep on reading…
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bag Summer 2021
The Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bags launched the same day as the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Mystery Boxes which launched on Friday, and I can’t believe that my Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bag arrived today all the way from the US, when I only ordered it on Friday night. That’s amazing service, and I was excited to see which products were inside.
The Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bag is $75, and is only available whilst stocks last. The mystery bags usually sell out quickly, so I’m surprised they’re still available at the time of writing this post.
With the bags, you’re guaranteed to get at least $165 worth of Jeffree Star Cosmetics products inside the bag, and I definitely got that value with mine.
The first item inside my Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bag, was the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Onyx Chrome Star Mirror, which is worth $25 alone. It’s a star shaped, handheld mirror which comes with its own presentation box, and I love the metallic black colour and finish.
Next up is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Shane Dawson Diet Root Beer Velour Lip Scrub worth $12 (but it’s on sale for $7.20 and has been for a long time). Every single Jeffree Star Mystery bag from Beautylish contains one of these, so they must have masses to get rid of.
I personally hate the smell of root beer with a passion, so I won’t be using this, but that’s just a scent thing. I usually love sugar based lip scrubs, but this scent isn’t for me.
My next product was the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Cake Mix Eyeshadow Pan, worth $9.99. These individual eyeshadows only launched a few weeks ago, so it’s exciting to see one of the shadows included within the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bag.
This particular shadow is from the Blood Sugar Palette, and it looks like the perfect base shade for setting eye primer, before applying other shades, and it’s a shade I will get a lot of use from.
The other product I won’t personally use is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Shane Dawson Ryland Velour Liquid Lipstick, as the colour is a metallic Barbie pink, and that’s just not my vibe at all. Full price, this shade was $18, but it’s been on sale for $13.50 for a long time now.
This mystery box contained a slightly more appealing liquid lipstick shade, and it’s the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Unicorn Blood Velour Liquid Lipstick, worth $18. It’s the prettiest, vampiest deep red and is one of the brand’s bestselling red lipstick.
Inside the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bag Summer 2021 edit, there were two of the Jeffree Star Cosmetics The Gloss Lip Glosses, each of which are worth $18. The two shades I got are; Crystal Climax (a warm brick with silver reflects and a metallic finish) and also Candy Drip (a metallic candy pink with purple and blue reflects).
Next up is a full size palette, and it looks like different boxes got different palettes, and inside my box was the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Cremated Palette. I have already done a full review and swatches post here on Makeup Muddle, so I’ll give this one away, as I definitely don’t need two, but it’s worth $58 alone.
The very last item inside my Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bag, is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Supreme Frost Highlighting Powder in the shade Money Honey, worth $32.
This particular shade is said to be an iridescent green gold with a reflective finish, which I’d never be able to use on the face, but I can’t wait to use it on my eyes, as it’s the most amazing duochrome, multidimensional shade.
Altogether, my mystery bag contains $199.69 worth of value, and that’s including the sale prices of the two discounted products, so it’s a true representation of the prices you’d pay right now for the items individually. To get $199.69 of products for $75 is amazing, and the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Mystery Bag is available right now.
