The summer Jeffree Star Beautylish Surprise Bags launched a few weeks ago, and I shared an unboxing a couple of weeks ago. It was an amazing bag, and I decided to get another as the value was so amazing. Many people were unhappy with the summer Jeffree Star Mystery Boxes, and thought the Beautylish mystery bags were much better.
If you’d like to find out what’s inside my Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beautylish Surprise Bag, keep on reading…
Jeffree Star Beautylish Surprise Bag
“Introducing the ultimate surprise: a Jeffree Star Cosmetics Surprise Bag worth $165 or more! Perfect for everyone from Jeffree Star Cosmetics collectors to newbies, this special grab bag features a surprise assortment of bestsellers and cult favorites—there’s no telling what could be inside yours!“
The Jeffree Star Beautylish Surprise Bag is $75, and is only available whilst stocks last. The mystery bags usually sell out quickly, so I’m surprised they’re still available at the time of writing this post.
With the bags, you’re guaranteed to get at least $165 worth of Jeffree Star Cosmetics products inside the bag, and I definitely got that value with mine.
The first item in my Jeffree Star Beautylish Surprise Bag is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Shane Dawson Pig Hand Mirror worth $30. In my last box I got a chrome black star shaped mirror, so I’m happy to have a different mirror design in this surprise bag.
The second product in the Jeffree Star Beautylish Surprise Bag was something which featured in my first, and I already own this palette, so that’s a shame, as I now have two spares of this palette. It’s the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Cremated Eyeshadow Palette worth $58.
The other duplicate within the box is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Shane Dawson Velour Lip Scrub in Diet Root Beer, worth $12. I got this in my last box, and honestly I really don’t like the smell, so it’s not something I’d use, but I’m sure some like it.
Next in the Jeffree Star Beautylish Surprise Bag is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Lavender Magic Star Setting Powder worth $22. I’ve not tried any of the coloured versions of the loose powder, and I’m not sure how this lavender shade will work for my skintone, but I’ll definitely give it a try.
The next product in the Jeffree Star Beautylish Surprise Bag is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Mini Orgy Palette, worth $28, and is the item I’m most looking forward to trying from the box. I have the matte version of Orgy, and this mini palette features nine shimmer shades, to complement the tones within the matte palette.
Then I got the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Money Counter Automatic Eyeliner worth $20. There are five shades of the automatic eyeliner pencils, and Money Counter is a bright lime matte shade.
I also got the Jeffree Star The Gloss Lip Gloss in the shade Shockwave. In the other mystery box, I got the shades Crystal Climax and Candy Drip, so I’m happy to have a different shade, and it looks super pretty.
The last two products within my box are shades of the Velour Liquid Lipsticks in the shades Bronze Blood and Crocodile Tears. Crocodile Tears is a straight up green which I’ll never wear, and Bronze Blood is a metallic bronze, which also isn’t my kind of shade.
Overall, it wasn’t the most impressive selection due to some repeats, but the value is definitely there. It claims to offer $165 of value for $75, and the contents are worth $224, and I’d definitely purchase more in the future should they launch.
