Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette and Collection Reveal!

Jeffree Star has announced his first makeup collection of 2022, and it’s the Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette and Collection. This collection is a little different to anything we’ve seen before, as it’s not a brand new palette – and there’s JEWELRY!

The Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beauty Killer Palette was the very first eyeshadow palette Jeffree launched, way back in May 2016. Well, for 2022, the palette is being discontinued, and replaced with the improved Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette – which will be the same price, $45!!

The Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette and Collection is the first makeup themed launch of 2022, but we have also seen the launch of Jeffree Star Skin; the very first range of skincare products from the brand.

The original Beauty Killer Palette had cardboard packaging, and was relatively plain in terms of design, compared to the coffin-inspired cases and boxes we’ve seen on all of the more recent palette launches.

Beauty Killer is still available now, but it’s going to be fully discontinued and replaced by the Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette, which Jeffree himself, describes as being “the next chapter”.

That original palette was what made Jeffree’s eyeshadow formula iconic, so it’s a brave move to reformulate and remodel the palette, rather than focusing on just new, new launches.

Inside the original palette, there are ten large square eyeshadow pans, laid out in two rows of five shades.

Each of the pans features the JS logo embossed onto them, and there’s a mirror inside the lid. Within the original palette, there are the following shades;

• Star Power
• Princess
• Violence
• Rich B*tch
• Courtney
• Expensive
• Confession
• Vanity
• China White
• Black Rainbow

The original Beauty Killer palette didn’t have a monochromatic colour story like his other palettes. It’s quite a mixed palette, with a pink, purple, teal and neutrals, with both matte and shimmer finishes.

So, what do we know about the Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette? Well, it’s launching as part of a whole collection, which includes the palette, a highlighter palette, two brand new special mirrors and even a special edition necklace.

The Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette and Collection includes the new “baby” as Jeffree calls it, now the original Beauty Killer has been discontinued. The box is silver, with a pink border, with the palette having the same format as the original Beauty Killer palette.

Jeffree said he wanted the new Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette to have upgraded packaging, as the original Beauty Killer Palette had more basic packaging, as the brand had a tiny budget back when it started. The new palette is thicker, with a thicker wall without being obnxious – according to Jeffree.

Inside the Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette, there are ten brand new never seen-before-shades, so whilst this is the second Beauty Killer Palette, it looks like the shades from the original are completely gone, with this brand new line-up.

For the palette, the OG huge pan sizes are back, just like the original. Inside the more recent Jeffree Star Palettes, we’ve seen square eyeshadow pans, but they’ve been much smaller than the pans inside the Beauty Killer, so you’re still getting a tonne of product for your money.

In the photos of the models, we can see the models wearing a glossy lip colour, and they’re all wearing intense, colourful highlighters, so I guessed there was possibly going to be a highlighter palette as well as a brand new eyeshadow palette, and I was right.

The Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette and Collection also includes the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Ice Crusher Skin Frost Pro Palette, which is a highlighter palette, with cardboard packaging, like all of Jeffree’s highlighter palettes.

The palette has ice cube effect detailing to the packaging, with the outer box having icebergs on the outside. Jeffree said that he wanted to have fun with the packaging on this collection, and the packaging does look pretty cool.

Inside the Ice Crusher Highlighter Palette, there are six large highlighter pans, with the JS logo embossed into each one. The ice cube theme is carried through to the packaging inside the palette too.

Inside this palette, the shades are;

• Avalanche – (named after one of Jeffree’s yak bulls) icy white
• Snow Job – gold with a green shift
• Ice Pick Headache – champagne rose gold
• Pluto – blue duochrome
• Plow Me – bronze
• Asphyxia Frost – lilac

Fans are also guessing that the Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette and Collection will include meat cleaver shaped mirrors, as the models are holding perspex axe’s within the promotional video, and it ties into the theme of the collection.

The Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette and Collection will include TWO colours of the Meat Cleaver Mirror, and they’re not at all sharp. They’re just novelty mirrors, one of which is pink, and the other is a gunmetal colour, and they’ll retail for $30.

Not only does the Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette and Collection include an eyeshadow palette, highlighter palette and two new mirrors, there’s also a piece of jewellery, which is the first time we’ve ever seen Jeffree launch jewellery before.

It’s a Meat Cleaver Necklace, which comes in a cute box, and is the necklace we can see Jeffree wearing in the entire reveal video, with a silver colour and meat cleaver pendant hanging from the chain.

The Jeffree Star Beauty Killer 2 Palette and Collection will be launching on March 25th at 10am PST, and 1PM EST and will be available right here.
