Yesterday, Jaclyn Hill teased her latest collection, and the Jaclyn Cosmetics Bougie Rouge Collection has been revealed as being her mystery upcoming launch.
We are seeing a number of Jaclyn Cosmetics launches in quick succession as her products are now stocked in ULTA, and she has stands to fill, and she mentioned in a recent video that she’s been working on these products and formulas all last year, so I think it’s great to see lots of products, and it’s great to see Jaclyn succeed.
The Jaclyn Cosmetics Bougie Rouge Collection is the brand’s latest collection, and it follows their recent face powder and primer launch.
This collection is all about the blusher (plus one lip formula), and I think it makes perfect sense for her to extend her cheek product line with more formulas, since she launched a range of blusher and bronzer duos as part of her initial relaunch for Valentine’s Day.
I have watched Jaclyn Hill on YouTube for as long as I’ve been a blogger, which is almost nine years, and Jaclyn has always had a massive love for blushers.
It was Jaclyn who really put Makeup Geek on the map with their powder blusher pans, with many building their own Makeup Geek Blusher Palettes – myself included.
So it’s exciting to see Jaclyn create her perfect range of blushers, and in true Jaclyn style, she hasn’t launched just one formula of blush, but three and a brand new lip formula too.
“💘 Introducing the Bougie Rouge Collection. 💘
This collection is a modern take on the ultimate cosmetic classic: Rouge. Featuring 3 luxe blush formulas & a lightweight lip cushion all in romantic, rococo-inspired shades.“
The first item in the Jaclyn Cosmetics Bougie Rouge Collection is the Jaclyn Cosmetics Rouge Romance Matte Blush Palette, which will be available in two colour ways, and they will be $45 each.
The palettes have cardboard packaging, with raised gold foil writing on the lid, and they also include a mirror inside the lid too.
Inside each of the six-pan powder blusher palettes, there are six large powder blusher pans, and they can be used individually or blended together, which is why I love using blush palettes, as you can customise your blush for your different makeup looks.
- Tea Room
- Fancy Pants
- Pretty Posh
- Ever After
The second blusher palette is called the Jaclyn Cosmetics Rouge Affair Blush Palette, and it contains the following six shades;
- French Kiss
- Living Lavish
Next up in the Jaclyn Cosmetics Bougie Rouge Collection, are the Jaclyn Cosmetics Mood Light Luminous Rouge Blushers, which are $30 each, and they’re loose powder blushers which impart a subtle, luminous veil of colour with a radiant finish.
There are four shades of the loose blusher formula to choose from, and they come in the same packaging as the loose highlighters with a cube style compact and a rose gold metallic lid. The jar has the same raised J on the lid like the loose highlighters, except the J is pink, so you can easily tell the blushers and highlighters apart.
Givenchy just launched a range of loose blushers, so it’s exciting to see Jaclyn launch her own loose blusher, as you don’t see many from mainstream beauty brands, and the packaging really is beautiful. The four shades of the Jaclyn Cosmetics Mood Light Luminous Rouge Loose Blushers are;
- Love Language
- Love Poem
The next formula within the Jaclyn Cosmetics Bougie Rouge Collection is the Jaclyn Cosmetics Rouge Romance Cream-to-Powder Blush Stick, and they’re solid stick cream blushers with four shades to choose from.
They’re priced at $22 each, and are a cream-to-powder blush stick which transforms on skin for a gorgeous, effortless wash of colour. I love a good cream blusher stick, you can just swipe it on the cheeks and blend out with your fingertips, and the packaging looks really sleek.
The Jaclyn Cosmetics Bougie Rouge Collection includes four shades of the Jaclyn Cosmetics Rouge Romance Cream-to-Powder Blush Sticks in the following shades;
- Royal Flush
The very last product within the Jaclyn Cosmetics Bougie Rouge Collection is one of the lips. It’s the Jaclyn Cosmetics Rouge Romance Lip Cushion, which instantly reminded me of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Stains, as the packaging is almost identical.
There’s five shades to choose from with a nude pink, peachy nude, deep red and plum, and the formula is described as being a rich, creamy lip colour in blushing hues with an ultra-lightweight, blurring finish.
The five shades of the Jaclyn Cosmetics Rouge Romance Lip Cushion all look beautiful, with shades for all skintones too, and the shade names are;
- Last First Kiss
- Sincerely Yours
- Lip Locked
- One and Only
This collection is set to launch on the 10th of June, and I’ll update this post once more information is shared….
