There’s a brand new Illamasqua launch, and it’s the Illamasqua Skin Base Pressed Powder Collection, which is the latest addition to the brand’s Skin Base collection.
The Skin Base collection started off with the Skin Base Foundation, but the collection has grown with a cream concealer and concealer pen, so it’s great to see another addition to the collection.
Illamasqua Skin Base Pressed Powder Collection
“Reveal a flawless complexion with Skin Based Pressed Powder. With a smooth velvet-matte finish this silky ultra-fine formula helps to blur imperfections and absorb shine.
Offering lightweight medium coverage, this pressed powder blends easily to set your base make-up for perfected skin all day.“
The Illamasqua Skin Base Pressed Powder Collection includes six different shades of powder, and they’re packaged within the iconic Illamasqua, black, angular compacts with mirrors inside the lids.
Described as being makeup bag essentials, helping to control oil when applying your makeup, but also throughout the day to absorb any oil build-up, or refresh the coverage of your foundation.
Illamasqua claims their Skin Based Powder is also great to set under-eye concealer, to help minimise mascara fall out, as well as to prevent creasing into fine lines.
The Illamasqua Skin Base Pressed Powder Collection is available in the following six shades;
- Light
- Light Plus
- Medium
- Medium Plus
- Dark
- Dark Plus
Illamasqua are known for their super inclusive foundation ranges, so it’s a little surprising to see only six shades of their powder. The shade range could definitely be extended to be a little more inclusive.
However, if you do like the Skin Base Foundation or Skin Base Concealer, the new Illamasqua Skin Base Pressed Powder Collection is available right now.
