The Illamasqua Hydra Lip Tints have launched today as well as the brand’s new Colour Correcting Bronzers. There’s a theme between the two launches, as they’re all multicoloured with a striped design, and if you’d like to find out all about the five new lip tints, keep on reading…
“A weightless, conditioning Lip Tint with a high-shine luminous finish. The nourishing formula, infused with Apricot and Peach Hazel Oil, will leave lips feeling hydrated for up to 10 hours.
This subtle dual tone tint seamlessly blends, creating a customised glossy finish. With a range of 5 optimal shades and a natural glossy finish, this subtle Hydra Lip Tint is quick and easy to apply.”
The Illamasqua Hydra Lip Tints include five different shades, each of which have a three stripe design with a dual-tone tint, which blend together to create a customised glossy finish.
In the bullets, the Illamasqua Hydra Lip Tints look a little garish with the bright stripes, but they blend for a considerably more muted tint on the lips, and they look beautiful.
The Illamasqua Hydra Lip Tints can be used directly from the bullet onto the lips for a colour blended look, or Illamasqua mention they allow you to create a shade that matches your skin tone and look.
Instead of applying straight from the bullet, use a small lip brush to load up on each colour and then mix together on the back of your hand, adding more of a particular shade until you get the colour you want and then apply to lips using the brush.
- Banoffee – caramel nude
- Mocktail – rose pink
- Picnic Plum – cool plum
- Swimsuit – rouge red
- Grapevine – true grape
I think the Illamasqua Hydra Lip Tints all look really pretty on the lips. The striped colour design looks a little intimidating in the bullets, but as you can see the bright colours don’t translate onto the lips. They look perfect for adding a hint of colour and shine to the lips, and they’re available right here.
