The I Heart Revolution Tasty Watermelon Lip Gloss collection launched as part of the I Heart Revolution Tasty Watermelon collection extension back in June. The Tasty Collection started off being all eyeshadow palettes, but now there’s bath bombs, soaps, highlighters, primer, brushes and more.
“Grab a sweet slice of summer with the oh-so-tasty watermelon collection from I Heart Revolution!
We’re watermelon crushin’ on these ultra-juicy lip-glosses. With a refreshing watermelon scent, these non-sticky glosses are infused with nourishing oils to hydrate the lips for a comfortable wear and glossy finish.“
The I Heart Revolution Tasty Watermelon Lip Gloss is available in five different shades, and are £4 / $6 each. They all have really cute packaging, with clear plastic tube, and bright green lids to look like a watermelon, and black faux seeds.
I love the packaging design, and the whole Tasty collection have really cute packaging designs. Each of the five glosses have a doefoot applicator, and they have a very subtle watermelon scent, which reminds me of the watermelon flavour of Jolly Ranchers.
Whilst the I Heart Revolution Tasty Watermelon Lip Gloss is available in five ‘shades’, they’re not pigmented at all, and that’s intentional. They’re very sheer, clear glosses, so you definitely wouldn’t need more than one shade, as they don’t impart colour on the lips.
I have the shade Fresh, which according to the Revolution website, is a bright pink colour, but it’s actually clear, which I don’t mind, as it’s the kind of gloss you can apply on the go without needing a mirror.
Alternatively, it’ll add a layer of shine to absolutely any lip colour, without changing the colour underneath, and the formula feels more akin to a lip oil than a conventional gloss, and they’re comfortable to wear too.
