I Heart Revolution has a range of colourful hair dyes, but I never hear anyone talking about them, so I wanted to do a feature post on both the I Heart Revolution Rainbow Tones and I Heart Revolution Rainbow Shots Collections.
Revolution launched their range of hair dyes last year, and they’ve recently added some newer shades, so I’m going to talk through the different hair dyes they offer, the colours and how long they last.

I Heart Revolution Rainbow Tones
Kicking off with the I Heart Revolution Rainbow Tones collection. The I Heart Revolution Rainbow Tones are described as offering colour and extra body in one.
These hair dyes are semi-permanent, and they last 8+ washes, and are the longest lasting hair colours Revolution have to offer. Rainbow Tones is infused with extra body conditioner for soft and voluminous hair.
The colour will fade gradually with each wash, and to use them you just apply to clean, dry hair. Using gloves, apply the product to your hair to give your hair full coverage, massage from root to tips. Leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. They are ammonia free and peroxide free.

I Heart Revolution Rainbow Shots
The I Heart Revolution Rainbow Shots are a temporary colour option. They’re designed to offer colour, shampoo and conditioner in one. They can last upto 8 weeks, depending on your hair’s colour before dyeing, and how porous it is.
They are said to be suitable for lightened, bleached, naturally blonde hair and light brunettes. There is minimal or no impact on darker hair colours.
Also works on lightened coloured real human hair extensions and wigs. Super easy to apply too, you just apply to damp hair in the shower, work through the hair and leave for 5-15 minutes, before rinsing.

I Heart Revolution UV Neon Hair Makeup
The UV Neon Hair Makeup are super vibrant instant hair colour, which will make your hair glow under a UV light. They’re the type of colour you add to the hair, and washes out with no longlasting colour.
You apply the product to clean, dry hair by using a small amount of product to coat hair, a few strands at a time. Comb through gently whilst hair makeup is still wet and allow hair to dry. Option to blow dry in and brush through lightly.

The I Heart Revolution Rainbow Paste range is their last hair dye collection. It’s a no commitment option, that works as an instant hair colour and styling paste in one, and washes out in just one wash.
It’s a temporary hair colour that acts like a gel / wax / cream simultaneously colour the hair. It is Vegan, Cruelty Free, ammonia-free and peroxide-free. Plus it’suitable for all hair types including blonde, light brown, dark brown, black and curly hair.
