I Heart Revolution Peach Collection

Revolution tend to either launch new products on Wednesdays or Fridays, and today was the launch of the I Heart Revolution Peach Collection and also the I Heart Revolution Avocado Collection.

I did a big focus post on every product within the Avocado collection here, and this is going to be all about their Peach collection.

There are 41 (yes, really) different ‘peach’ products on the Revolution website, so I won’t obviously include them all but I’m going to talk you through the main I Heart Revolution Peach collection products.

Revolution launched two Peach Tasty Palettes back in March; the I Heart Revolution Tasty Peach Eyeshadow Palette which is £10 with eighteen eyeshadows, and the I Heart Revolution Mini Tasty Peach Eyeshadow Palette which is £6 with eight shadows.

I bought the mini Avocado Palette as I loved the look of the shimmer shades, but I wasn’t tempted by either of the Peach palettes.

I watched a YouTube video on the larger peach palette, and many of the shades were duplicated when you swatched them side by side, whereas the Avocado Palettes were much more unique.

They launched two eyeshadow palettes as part of their Avocado range, in the same sizes and with the same raised rubberised packaging design.

I guess those palettes were a big success to then go on and launch 13 new products in one go. If you’d like to find out about the products within the I Heart Revolution Peach Collection, keep on reading.

OK, so the first new product within the I Heart Revolution Peach Collection are the I Heart Revolution Tasty Peach Lip Oils.

They’re £5 each, and are available in three different shades; Peachy Keen (pink), Peach Juice (orange) and Sweet Peach (coral), although it looks like Peachy Keen and Sweet Peach are identical in this picture. The avocado version of the lip oil is in just one clear shade, but these have a subtle tint to them.

With a nourishing formula to help soften your lips whilst providing a subtle tint of colour. The Peach Lip Oils have a peach scent and a doefoot applicator (they call it a sponge tip applicator, and it’s definitely not one of those 90’s throwback applicators). They look reminiscent of the Clarins Lip Oils, but for £5 they’re obviously much cheaper.

There is a mascara within the I Heart Revolution Peach Collection, and the Avocado Collection. It’s the I Heart Revolution Tasty Peach Mascara, and at £5 it’s the cheapest mascara Revolution have to offer.

The brush is completely different to the avocado mascara which has a plastic bristled wand, whereas this peach mascara has natural bristles in a much fuller brush. Interestingly enough, this mascara has no peach oil – but the avocado mascara has avocado oil?

The I Heart Revolution Peach Collection includes the I Heart Revolution Tasty Peach Mattifying Priming Spray which is £6 for 100ml. In the avocado range, there’s a more dewy finish primer spray, so I like that they’ve done different formulas for the two different ranges.

Revolution recommend you spritz onto the face before makeup application for a mattified and shine-free finish, to prep the skin for a smooth makeup application.

It has a peach scent which sounds lovely, although they do already have a peach (peaches & cream) scent version of their regular I Heart Revolution Setting Spray too.

The avocado collection features a range of lipsticks with avocado oil infused cores, and the I Heart Revolution Peach Collection features this I Heart Revolution Tasty Peach Liquid Lipstick collection.

There’s eight shades in total, and they’re £5 each. They each have a frosted plastic tube, with an orange lid covered in peach illustrations.

These liquid lipsticks supposedly glides on like a gloss and dries to a demi-matte finish for a peach perfect lip look. However, all these swatches are shiny, so I think they’re more glossy than they are ‘demi-matte’.

This is my least favourite product within the whole I Heart Revolution Peach Collection and that’s because they look so patchy, and let’s be honest, Bellini, Fleur and Apricot are the same shade.

Next up within the I Heart Revolution Peach Collection, is the I Heart Revolution Tasty 3D Peach Highlighter. I don’t know about you, but this doesn’t look anything like a peach to me and the comments on Instagram today have been hilarious.

It’s a baked highlighter with a split design, with each half being a different shade. It looks like a similar formula to their Goddess of Love Highlighter range.

So that’s the end of the new products within the I Heart Revolution Peach Collection that launched today, but I have a couple which are still part of their peach collection.

It’s the I Heart Revolution Peach Baking Powder which is £5 for 22 grams of product. The peach version is just one shade, as there’s also Coconut, Chocolate Banana and Banana too.

You can find the I Heart Revolution Peach Collection right here.
