There’s a brand new Revolution chocolate bar palette, well there’s two. The I Heart Revolution Marble Rose Gold Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette and the I Heart Revolution Caramel Nudes Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette, both of which have launched alongside the Chocolate Scented Mascara and the Chocolate Contour Palette Collection.
I Heart Revolution Marble Rose Gold Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette
Revolution have launched a crazy amount of chocolate bar palettes over the years, I honestly don’t know how they can still think up and create new designs. Their design team must be incredible to still be able to create completely new palette designs.
The I Heart Revolution Marble Rose Gold Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette is £8.99 features a cream colour plastic design, with a raised rose gold melted chocolate dripping overlay.
It’s identical to the design on the Elixir Glow Mini Chocolate Bar and the Rose Gold Mini Chocolate Bar Palettes, so if you own multiple chocolate palettes, it’d be easy to confuse them as they all look so similar.
Revolution usually do an amazing job at describing their palettes, but the I Heart Revolution Marble Rose Gold Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette has a much smaller, less detailed description compared to their palettes. It’s such a shame as it’s one of the prettiest chocolate bar palettes they’ve launched for a long time.
They’ve also only included swatches of ten shades which is really disappointing. There’s eighteen shades in the palette, and customers want to see the quality, pigmentation and colour of all eighteen shades, and not just the cherry-picked best performer shades.
Playing devil’s advocate for a moment, it could be that these are the best shades in the palette and the other eight are perhaps not great, so they decided to show the best shades in order to sell the palette?
They always show swatches of every shade, so I don’t understand why they haven’t with the I Heart Revolution Marble Rose Gold Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette.
These ten shimmer shades look super pretty, but what about the mattes? It might be a palette which is better off being swatched instore so you can get an idea of the quality of all eighteen shades. Either way, it’s a really pretty palette and I love the marbled finish on some of the shades.
