Revolution have launched not just one, but two new concealers in the last week. The first launch is the Revolution Conceal & Define Infinitie XL Concealer and now we have the I Heart Revolution Heartbreakers Concealer. It seems a little OTT to launch two new concealers within days of each other, but Revolution love launching new products regularly.
I Heart Revolution Heartbreakers Concealer
The I Heart Revolution Heartbreakers Concealer is the first concealer for the I Heart Revolution brand, and is said to be packed with vitamins A, B3, B5, C and E as well as coconut extract.
Described as being a lightweight formula that nourishes and soothes whilst evening out your skin tone. Beautifully blendable with a natural finish, this concealer is ideal for brightening the under eye area. With a cute heart shaped lid and doefoot, as well as 18 coconut scented shades.
In addition to the I Heart Revolution Heartbreakers Concealer, Revolution have also launched a collection of highlighters, blushes and eyeshadow palettes all in a Heartbreakers theme.
The I Heart Revolution Heartbreakers Concealer collection are £6 each, and they contain 12ml of product which is generous compared to the amount of product they usually have for their concealers.
They haven’t listed any ingredients on their website yet, which is very strange for a base product as people need to know what’s inside a product but as it’s such a new launch, hopefully it’ll be rectified soon.
The I Heart Revolution Heartbreakers Concealer has 18 coconut scented shades;
Cocoa – For dark skin tones with a warm undertone.
Treacle – For dark skin tones with an olive undertone.
Chestnut – For dark skin tones with a warm undertone.
Hazelnut – For dark skin tones with a red undertone.
Cinnamon – For dark skin tones with an orange undertone.
Almond – For medium/dark skin tones with a golden undertone.
Toffee – For medium/dark skin tones with a neutral undertone.
Pretzel – For deeper medium skin tones with an olive undertone.
Caramel – For deeper medium skin tones with a neutral undertone.
Honey – For medium skin tones with an olive undertone.
Biscuit – For medium skin tones with a yellow undertone.
Shortbread – For light/medium skin tones with a neutral undertone.
Golden Sugar – For light/medium skin tones with an olive undertone.
Praline – For light skin tones with a neutral undertone.
Sesame – For fair skin tones with a cool undertone.
Custard – For fair skin tones with a neutral undertone.
Oat – For fair skin tones with a light neutral undertone.
Buttermilk – For fairest skin tones with a pink undertone.
The shade range could definitely be improved, especially as the Infinite XL Concealer has over 50 shades. With the Revolution concealers, the shades all have numbers like 0.5 and 11.5, but the shades in this new I Heart Revolution Heartbreakers Concealer formula have shade names instead.
The packaging is really cute, with clear plastic tubes, and pink heart shaped lids. The doefoot applicators are even shaped like hearts, and I’ve purchased a couple of shades so I’ll be sure to share our thoughts very soon.
