The collection featured a capsule collection for three of the princesses, and each collection included an eyeshadow palette, highlighter, lip topper and set of false lashes. I didn’t love the look of the eyeshadow palettes, but the I Heart Revolution Disney Cinderella Highlighter looked beautiful, and I decided to give it a try.
When the Disney Princess collection launched, there was just a collection for Cinderella, Belle and Tiana, but the range has been extended recently to include Ariel.
The products within each collection are priced between £15 for the Storybook Face and Eye Palettes, and £5 for each of the Lip Topper glosses.
Revolution nailed it with the packaging on this collection. All of the highlighters and palettes have been designed to resemble storybooks, and they’re magnetic, and can fold out.
The I Heart Revolution Disney Cinderella Highlighter has a dark blue book style design, with a leather effect print, and gold foil accents with little pumpkins all around the corners. It’s so beautiful, and will be a must-have for any Disney fans.
“The I Heart Revolution Cinderella Fairytale Book Heart highlighter, is a pearl pink powder that will leave you with a pearlescent pink radiance. Wrapped in a keepsake collectable case.
Get carried away and get Cinderella’s look with the full collection. Express your inner princess. It’s your time to shine!”
The I Heart Revolution Disney Cinderella Highlighter really was impossible to photograph, and I know my photo doesn’t do the shade and finish justice at all. It’s a very light pink iridescent shade, which has a pink shift, and doesn’t pick up very well on camera.
It’s quite subtle as far as highlighters go, but I’d like to think that Cinderella would’ve chosen a subtle highlighter like this, so it does make perfect sense for the Cinderella collection.
The I Heart Revolution Disney Cinderella Highlighter also works perfectly as a blush topper too, and I love how it looks when layered over the top of a pink or peach matte blush, for a pretty pink shift, and I’m so glad I gave it a try.
