Revolution takes the award for the most random launch of 2021 so far with the I Heart Revolution Cookie Shadow Palette Collection. The brand launched two squidgy burger shaped palettes last year which were random enough, but these squidgy cookie palettes are even more peculiar.

I Heart Revolution Cookie Shadow Palette Collection
It looks as if Revolution are trying to tap into the whole Glamlite food themed trend with these new food shaped palettes. I Heart Revolution was made famous for their iconic chocolate bar palettes, and I miss the days when they’d launch amazing chocolate bar palettes that rivalled high end palettes.
It feels as if they’ve ditched their amazing chocolate palettes, and instead are going for gimmicky launches instead. Some of my all time favourite eyeshadow palettes are I Heart Revolution Chocolate Bar Palettes, and I’d really wish they’d go back to making those and their amazing baked highlighters.
Give us a smooth centres chocolate bar filled with foiled shades, or a truffle themed palette with velvet mattes. Or a sorbet collection of pastels and muted neons, ah the possibilities are endless.
The I Heart Revolution Cookie Shadow Palette Collection features four cookie themed palettes, with 3D squishy packaging just like those burger palettes. They genuinely look like squeaky dog toys, and I can’t imagine anyone over the age of 20 wanting one in their makeup bag, especially as they’re so bulky thanks to the 3D packaging.
Each of the four new palettes are £6.99 each, so they’re nice and affordable, featuring eight shades in segments, and one larger shadow pan in the centre. The squidgy compacts all feature mirrors and let’s take a look at all four on offer;
