Revolution have today launched a whole host of chocolate themed products, including the I Heart Revolution Chocolate Contour Bar collection. These new launches are an extension of their massively popular Chocolate Bar Palette series.
Everyone berated Too Faced for slogging a dead horse with their incessant Peach themed launches, but Revolution now have sixty nine chocolate themed products. Yes, really.
I Heart Revolution Chocolate Contour Bar
The I Heart Revolution Chocolate Contour Bar Collection consists of four chocolate themed compacts, each containing a contour powder shade and a highlighter shade for £6. They contain two x 4.5g powders which is a really generous amount of product for the price.
The I Heart Revolution Chocolate Contour Bar Collection include the following four options;
- Fair
- Light
- Medium
- Dark
Each of these duos are designed to help you create chiselled cheekbones and a natural sun-kissed glow. Featuring a matte bronzing powder and a shimmer highlighter in a chocolate square theme.
Revolution have even added a warning on their website that you can’t eat them, and that they both look and smell just like a chocolate bar. With each of the cardboard compacts designed to look like a slab of chocolate, which is cute, and there’s even a mirror inside the lid.
The I Heart Revolution Chocolate Contour Bar Collection is extremely similar to the once very popular Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder + Highlighter duos, which everyone raved about back in 2014. If anything, I’m surprised it’s taken Revolution this long to create their own version.
You can’t purchase Bourjois products in the UK any more which is such a massive shame, so if you’ve been gutted to not be able to get your hands on the Bourjois bronzer, I feel like the I Heart Revolution Chocolate Contour Bar would be a great alternative.

Each of the four shade duos in the I Heart Revolution Chocolate Contour Bar Collection are all very warm toned, and this collection is marketed as being a contour palette collection.
Contour powders are usually cool toned, so they can emulate a natural shadow on the face, so in my opinion, these duos are more bronzers than contour powders.
I think it would be great if Revolution could create a proper contour powder collection, similar to the Makeup Geek Contour Powders which are specifically made for sculpting the face rather than bronzing. If you do like the look of these duos, they’re all available right now.
