According to the Cult Beauty website, there are three new Huda Beauty launches! The Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Collection is just one of the three lip themed launches.
Huda Beauty launched their original Lip Contour lip liner collection back in 2016, and it appears that the brand are doing a few reformulations right now.
We saw the launch of the reformulated Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Luminous Matte Foundation back in January, which was given a reformulation based on feedback from Huda’s fans, and these lip liners are a new collection too.
The Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Collection features twelve different shades, and the packaging has had a revamp from the original Lip Contour 1.0 collection. The original lip liners have black packaging, with colour co-ordinated ends for you to tell them apart.
This new collection of lip pencil liners have colour co-ordinated packaging, and black ends, which can be removed to reveal a sharpener, to help you keep your lip liners sharp and precise. The original lip liners are £16, and the new Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Collection are £17 each.
The Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Collection is described as having hydrating ingredients, and intense pigment to help shape the lips to give you the illusion of enhanced volume and a defined shape.
It’s said to be a multitasking lip liner meets lipstick, boasting impressive staying power up to nine hours, with a comfortable, creamy texture which applies easily and doesn’t smudge once on the lips.
This new collection of lip liners is said to be inspired by the collective obsession of over-lining the lips, and the formula boasts a soft, buttery formula allowing you to draw just outside your natural lip liner to enhance your lips without smudging or budging.
The twelve shades of the Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Collection are;
- Sandy Beige
- Honey Beige
- Warm Brown
- Pinky Brown
- Rusty Pink
- Muted Pink
- Vivid Pink
- Deep Rose
- Very Berry
- Rich Brown
- Universal Red
Bold claim, but the Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Collection is said to stay put by the pool, in the rain and under face masks. Its formula features a nourishing complex of soybean and liquorice to keep the lips feeling plump and comfortable too.
The twelve new lip liners have a twist-up bullet to make application even easier, and whilst you won’t need to use a conventional sharpener on the lip pencils, the nib sharpener disguised within the base of each pencil will help you achieve a crisp and precise lip line.
I love the range of shades within this collection, with there mostly being many variations of nude to complement all skintones.
