When it comes to brow products, tinted brow gels are my favorite type of product, so I’m always up for trying new tinted brow gels, whenever they launch.
The Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Full n Fluffy Brow Gel launched sixteen months ago, and keep on scrolling to read my review, plus swatches of two different shades.
Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Full n Fluffy Brow Gel
“Create full, fluffy-looking #BOMBBROWS in seconds! Available in 8 universal shades, this lightweight brow gel instantly tames, tints & adds thickness to your hair with volumizing microfibers!
It’s now SO easy to enhance your natural brow shape & create different looks, whether you like them feathered or naturally groomed!“
It’s marketed as being a tinted brow gel that tames, tints, and adds an instant fluff factor with volumizing microfibers for naturally fuller-looking brows.
The Huda Beauty tinted brow gel features a precise, super slim spoolie brush, giving you the full control you need, to target and fill in your sparse areas. It really is the tiniest wand I’ve ever seen on a brow gel.
I like how precise it is, but because of how skinny it is, and it’s actually quite flimsy, so if you have fuller brows, or like a brushed-up brow look, it’s quite hard to control, even though it claims to give you ‘full control’.
I feel like the wand needs to have a thicker plastic stem, or a more robust stem at least, so it doesn’t wiggle around as much, when you’re trying to brush through the brows.
Huda Beauty claims the Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Full n Fluffy Brow Gel is water-resistant, long-lasting, smudge-proof, sweat-proof and transfer-proof all-in-one.
I’d have to agree with all of those claims, it really is a great long-lasting brow gel. It lasts as long as Benefit Gimme Brow and Lime Crime Bushy Brow gels, which are my personal favorite brow tinted brow gels, and ones I forever repurchase.
There are a lot of fibers within the formula of the Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Full n Fluffy Brow Gel. Way more than other bestselling fiber-infused brow gels; like Benefit Gimme Brow.
I find that the fibers do make the brows look fuller, and more dense. However, I do notice a little fallout during the day sometimes, of some of the fibers.
The brow gel doesn’t move, once applied to the gel, but the tiny fibers do occasionally drop onto my brow bone occasionally. It’s not every time, and I find that if I finish with any clear brow gel once the Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Full n Fluffy Brow Gel has dried down, this stops any fall out completely.
There are eight different shades to choose from;
- Warm Blonde 1 – blonde hair with golden undertones
- Neutral Blonde 2 – blonde hair with mix of cool and warm undertones.
- Caramel Blonde 3 – red hair or dark blonde hair with warm undertones.
- Light Brown 4 – light brown hair with warm undertones.
- Medium Brown 5 – neutral brown hair with mix of cool and warm undertones.
- Rich Brown 6 – dark brown hair with warm undertones.
- Black Brown 7 – black hair with warm undertones.
- Soft Black 8 – black hair with cool undertones.
I have two of the shades, Medium Brown 5 and Rich Brown 6. In my swatches photo above, the lighter of the two swatches is Medium Brown, and the deeper swatch is Rich Brown.
Rich Brown is very warm toned, and almost looks auburn in my natural dark brown brows. Whereas Medium Brown is the perfect balance of neutral undertones.
In the swatches, you can even see the fibers quite noticeably, and the fibers are quite long. I know I keep drawing comparisons with Benefit Gimme Brow, but that’s my holy grail brow gel, and that’s another fiber-infused brow gel, and the fibers within that formula are tiny, and they never fall out either.
Medium Brown is a good shade match for me, and whilst I like the formula, I wouldn’t repurchase the Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Full n Fluffy Brow Gel.
As for me, the Benefit Gimme Brow and Lime Crime Bushy Brow are better tinted brow gels, with easier-to-control spoolies/wands, with zero fall out, and they feel weightless within the brows.
