Wow. It was only two days ago that Hourglass announced the launch of the Hourglass Veil Soft Focus Setting Spray, and today they’ve announced another; the Hourglass Veil Eye Primer.
Hourglass aren’t a brand like ColourPop, in that they don’t launch new products very often. They tend to have a few big launches spaced out over a year, but two new products in one week is totally unheard of. The Hourglass Veil Eye Primer 9.6g has launched today, and is available right here for $28.

I am guessing it’s down to the current global crisis. They probably did have them set up to be spaced out through the year, but with the quarantine, it could be that they weren’t able to launch the two new products when they wanted to.
It’s definitely strange to announce the launch of two new products within the same range within two days.

It looks like foundation with a really smooth finish, and that’s what people were guessing in the comments on the Hourglass Instagram so to find out what it really is, is a massive surprise.
Directions
Squeeze a small amount onto fingertip and dot across eyelid. Gently pat to blend an even layer over the entire lid and up to the brow bone. Allow to dry completely before applying shadow, or leave bare for natural, even coverage.
I don’t think anyone guessed that it would be the Hourglass Veil Eye Primer. However, it does make sense seeing as their face primers are so incredibly popular.
I absolutely love their Serum Primer, and as this product is part of the Veil collection, I can only imagine how smoothing and perfecting it’ll be on the eyes.

Hourglass have described their first ever eye primer as “smooth and nourish your lids while enhancing your eye makeup” and I for one really want to give it a try once it launches.
