I don’t know about you, but my YouTube subscription box and Instagram stories feed are full of home inspiration posts. Everyone is looking for homeware inspiration, and are sharing their best home decor finds. Seeing as we’re all stuck at home right now, it’s the perfect time to do a declutter and revamp in time for spring, so I thought I’d share some items on my current homeware wishlist right now.
Homeware Wishlist Spring 2020
I’ve seen so many people share lovely dried grasses recently, and I really want to get some dried fluffy pampas grass for my lounge. I love how neutral it looks, but it adds a nice amount of texture and as it’s already dried, you don’t have to worry about watering it or anything so it’s very low maintenance. Dried Pampas looks so nice in a large planter, and there are different sizes and types to choose from too.
I have faux wooden flooring right now, and it’s so impractical. It’s not hard wearing, and looks so scratched and blemished just from daily wear and tear. Seeing so many cute home decor pins on Pinterest has really given be the urge to invest in some Solid Wood Flooring as it just looks so much better, and is obviously considerably better quality too. I’d love a pale lacquered wood for a glossy effect, and there’s so many wood types to choose from.
My next homeware wishlist item is lighting related. I have some really boring lampshades, and I love the look of all the ornate chandeliers that are everywhere right now. I really like the material type, which I think would complement the pampas grass theme really well, and pull the room together, and I feel like they’d give off a lot more light than a standard lampshade would.
It is the kind of thing you have to have installed though, as they have to be wired, but I still think it would be worth it as they look so pretty, so it’s something I’d perhaps have to wait until lockdown is finished with, but I’m excited about choosing the perfect style for my house.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the items on my current homeware wishlist.
