Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021
Boots launched a collaborative advent calendar with Harry Potter last Christmas, and it was super popular, so they’re back for another year, and this year’s Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 is themed around the very cute Hedwig.
Last year’s Harry Potter Advent Calendar was a Hogwarts Express Advent Calendar, and it sold out in record time. It was cute, but it’s not as cute as the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021.
This year’s design is absolutely adorable, and it’s actually quite luxurious, which I have to admit, I didn’t expect for a Harry Potter themed advent calendar.

The Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 is £40, and is shaped to look like Hedwig, with an envelope in his beak, and holographic accents.
The calendar’s lid is magnetised, and lifts to reveal 24 individual boxes, with a pretty rose gold foil Harry Potter design on the inside. The twenty-four boxes inside the calendar are laid out to look like a cloud face, with little Harry Potter illustrations on the boxes, which true fans will recognise.
The Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021‘s clock face design features a large holographic white box for day 24 of the calendar, surrounded by smaller boxes, which also feature a holographic design. It looks like such a beautiful calendar, and has a ‘grown up’ vibe to it, so I feel like teens and adults would appreciate and enjoy the calendar.
It’s such a pretty calendar, and it looks a lot more ‘grown up’ compared to last year’s design. The contents are lot better for 2021 too, and will be products that Harry Potter fans, of all ages, can enjoy, and keep on reading for my full unboxing of every single product.
The first product inside the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021, is the first of quite a few bath bombs. First up is the Harry Potter Gryffindor Bath Fizzer, and it’s 50g with a red colour.
Each of the bath fizzers are individually wrapped in cellophane, to keep them airtight, and this particular fizzer has a subtle fruity scent, and the red complements the ‘house’ colour of Gryffindor.
Then we have the Harry Potter Ravenclaw Body Wash, in a 50ml size. It’s a blue coloured body wash, with a holographic raven on the front of the bottle, and it’s a nice travel-friendly size.
There’s a body wash for all four Houses, and each House has a different fragranced, so the products in the calendar have the same scent if they’re the same House, which is nice as you can layer the fragrance. The Ravenclaw scent is lovely and fruity.
Next in the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 is a slightly more special bath bomb, and it’s the Harry Potter Golden Snitch Bath Fizzer, and it’s 50g. It’s a bright metallic gold bath bomb, with a subtle floral scent.
The next item in the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 is the for the shower, and it’s the Harry Potter Shower Jelly 50g. There’s no scent or name on the product, but this one is pink with blue glitter particles, and it has a berry scent.
This next product is my personal favourite from the entire calendar, and it’s the Harry Potter Hedwig Hand Cream, and it’s a 50ml size, which is quite generous. This hand cream is said to be fragranced with notes of lemon, grapefruit and vanilla. It smells so nice, but it’s actually a really nice hand cream, with no greasiness, and is absorbs in seconds.
Day number six is another Harry Potter Shower Jelly, which again doesn’t have a fragrance name or scent description, but this one is a pale yellow colour with pink sparkle, and this jelly smells like grapefruit.
We then have another Hedwig themed product – it is his calendar after all, and it’s the Harry Potter Hedwig Lip Balm, and is 7g. It’s packaged within a purple metal tin with Hedwig on the front. It’s so cute, and it’s a clear balm.
The first of the accessories within the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 is next, and it’s the Harry Potter Scrunchie. It’s a navy blue, velvet with Harry Potter detailing in metallic pink, gold and blue.
It’s one of the bow scrunchies, with little ‘ears’ and it’s so cute, and soft. I love how it’s Harry Potter themed, but not overly so, and you’d only notice looking up close, so it’s not too in your face.
There’s another body wash next, and it’s the Harry Potter Gryffindor Body Wash, 50ml. This one features a holographic lion on the bottle, and the body wash is a red colour, with a delicious berry scent.
We then have another House themed bath bomb, and it’s the Harry Potter Slytherin Bath Fizzer, 50g, and it’s a green colour. This fizzer has a stronger scent than any of the others in the calendar, and it’s a lovely fresh scent.
There’s another accessory next in the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021, and it’s a beautiful navy, velvet sleep mask. The mask is beautifully embroidered with ‘Hogwarts Is Your Home’ Sleep Mask, and stars in a pink, purple and blue cotton. It feels so luxurious, and has an elasticated head strap. It feels so soft against the skin, and is really great quality.
The Harry Potter Shimmering Bath Elixir is next, and it’s a 50ml size. It’s a shimmery gold bubble bath with a sweet vanilla scent, and the gold colour matches the colour of the Golden Snitch Bath Fizzer we got earlier on in the calendar.
We have another bath fizzer next, and it’s the Harry Potter Bath Fizzer, 50g. This one doesn’t have a specific name like the others, but it has a pretty pearlised finish to it, which looks so sparkly.
Next in the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021, is the Harry Potter Hufflepuff Body Wash 50ml. This body wash has a citrus scent, and has a cute holographic badger on the front.
Next is something a little different, and it’s a body mist. It’s the Harry Potter Slytherin Fragrance Spray, and it’s a 50ml mini size.
Another different product to anything else in the calendar, and it’s the Harry Potter Golden Body Scrub, which is 50ml. It’s a yellow colour, and is in a cute little plastic jar. This scrub has the same scent as the Golden Snitch Bath Fizzer and Bath Essence.
The next item in the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 is the Harry Potter Rollerball Fragrance, and it’s a 10ml glass bottle with a rollerball, so you can roll it on to your wrists and pulse points. This perfume has the same scent as the Hedwig hand cream, with notes of lemon, grapefruit and vanilla.
Another body mist next, and it’s the Harry Potter Ravenclaw Fragrance Mist, 50ml, featuring a holographic raven on the front of the bottle, and it has the same fruity scent as the Ravenclaw Bath Fizzer.
The next bath fizzer in the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021, is the Harry Potter Hufflepuff Bath Fizzer 50g. Just like the other Hufflepuff products in the calendar, this bath bomb has a subtle citrus scent.
Another body wash, and this time it’s the Harry Potter Slytherin Body Wash 50ml, with the same fresh almost pine scent of the other Slytherin products in the calendar.
We then have the Harry Potter Gryffindor Fragrance Spray, 50ml with a holographic lion on the front of the bottle.
The next item in the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 is the last bath bomb in the calendar. It’s the Harry Potter Ravenclaw Bath Fizzer, 50g, and it has a subtle berry scent.
Day 23 of the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 features the last of the four Houses body mists, and it’s the Harry Potter Hufflepuff Fragrance Spray, with a holographic badger on the front of the bottle.
Then we have Christmas Eve, and the biggest box of the whole calendar, and inside there’s the most adorable, silky soft Harry Potter Hedwig Head Band, with an embroidered purple Hedwig the Owl design.

In total, the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 includes six different bath fizzers, including one which looks like the Golden Snitch.
Boots have a Golden Snitch Bath Fizzer which you can purchase outside of the set, so it’s amazing they’ve included one within the calendar too.
You get four body sprays, and one perfume, which is a nice change from last year’s calendar. You then have two shower jellies, hand cream, lip balm, bubble bath, body scrub and three accessories.
The Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 includes a Hogwarts Sleep Eye mask, an Harry Potter hair scrunchie, and the cutest Hedwig Head Band too.
I love that the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021 includes bath and body products, but it also includes some products you can keep past-Christmas. Such as the luxurious and super well-made embroidered Hedwig headband (SO cute), embroidered sleep mask and hair scrunchie.
I am so impressed by the Harry Potter Wizarding World Hedwig Advent Calendar 2021. The contents are varied, high quality and I love that you did get some items to keep, and I feel like it’s a fab calendar for Harry Potter fans, and is available right now.
