If you love Harry Potter, Boots have lots of different Harry Potter licensed gift sets this year, and the Harry Potter Honeydukes Chocolate Frog Face Palette is one of the makeup products within the range.
I’ve already shared the super cute Hedwig Advent Calendar with you, and keep on reading to find out more about this palette…
Harry Potter Honeydukes Chocolate Frog Face Palette
“Hop into action with the HARRY POTTER™ HONEYDUKES™ CHOCOLATE FROG™ Eye shadow palette.
Featuring five beautiful shades and the special shimmering Frog shaped highlighter, this HARRY POTTER™ HONEYDUKES™ CHOCOLATE FROG™ Eye shadow palette is the perfect addition to your HARRY POTTER™ collection.“
The Harry Potter Honeydukes Chocolate Frog Face Palette is £12.50, and is included within the Boots Christmas 3 for 2 offer, and is one of many Harry Potter themed products available this year.
The Harry Potter Honeydukes Chocolate Frog Face Palette is packaged within a blue, metal tin in a pentagonal shape.
This palette is designed to resemble a Chocolate Frog from Honeydukes, and inside the tin there are five powder eyeshadows and one highlighter powder. The shadows have little frog designs and star shaped pans, and a 3D raised frog for the highlighter.
The presentation of the Harry Potter Honeydukes Chocolate Frog Face Palette is very cute, and it does a good job at representing Harry Potter, but the quality isn’t the best I have to be honest.
I find the eyeshadows to be dusty and lacking in pigment, and all of these swatches are four or five swipes, so they’re very sheer. The highlighter (swatched under the five eyeshadow swatches) is very sheer too, and it’s an icy silver shade.
I really like the design of the palette, both inside and outside the palette. However, for £12.50 it’s not bad, but if you’ve tried higher-end shadows or highlighters, I feel like you’d be disappointed by this palette, as the pigment is so sheer.
