I’ve got a really exciting beauty launch to show you, and this time it’s from Gucci. The Gucci Nail Colour Polish Collection has launched as a Selfridges exclusive right here, and also a Douglas exclusive, and I have all the details for you. Keep on reading to find out more…
Gucci Nail Colour Polish Collection
In the last two weeks we’ve seen the launch of the stunning Gucci Poudre de Beaute Eclat Soleil Bronzing Powder and Gucci Rouge A Levres Satin Lipstick Collection, so it’s amazing that we have another Gucci Beauty launch so soon.
Ever since Alessandro Michele joined Gucci as Creative Director, the Gucci Beauty brand has gone from strength to strength ever since their total rebrand. The packaging and quality has improved massively, and their products are so highly sought after.
“For the Vernis à Ongles collection, GUCCI was inspired by the vintage nail polishes – the result is a perfectly opaque high-gloss formula, whose vivid colors are dedicated to iconic Hollywood films and figures from the golden era. With high coverage and long-lasting texture, Vernis à Ongles gives the nails intense color with a glamorous sheen.
At the same time, the nail polish gently smoothes fine grooves and bumps in the nail surface. The special brush shape makes the even and streak-free application of the quick-drying formula incredibly easy, which is hidden in a cylindrical, smooth glass flacon, which also impresses with its vintage design.“
The Gucci Nail Colour Polish Collection includes five different nail polishes, and the shades include;
- Annabel Rose – a muted pastel pink
- Crystal Black – a deep and intense black
- Melinda Green – a lime green
- Dorothy Turquoise – a bright teal
- Myra Crimson – a deep blackened red
Each of the five shades within the Gucci Nail Colour Polish Collection have beautiful packaging, with weighty clear glass bottles, a nude coloured plastic lid and minimalistic black and nude label.
I love how retro the labels look, and they almost have a 1950’s nail polish design vibe which is so cute, and fits in with the brand’s aesthetic with the retro wallpaper in the promotional imagery.
As I mentioned, they are a Selfridges exclusive and a Douglas exclusive right now, but I’d imagine they’ll launch on the Gucci website within the coming weeks too, and I’ll update this post once they do.
