The Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder launched a couple of weeks ago, and it instantly reminded me of one of my holy grail skincare products.
I’ve loved the Dermalogica Microfoliant for around 15 years now, but it’s so pricey so when I saw this version from Good Molecules, I was very tempted to give it a try.

I first featured Good Molecules back when they launched their Caffeine Energizing Eye Masks, and it’s been one of my most read posts since I started Makeup Muddle.
I have to be honest, before featuring their eye masks, I hadn’t heard of them before but I’m now seeing a lot more about the brand and its products.
The Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder are their most recent launch, and is $16 for 60g of product inside a brown coloured glass bottle.
The top of the bottle has a little valve which means you can control how much product you tip out without wasting anything.
The powder is formulated with fruit enzymes, vitamin C, and rice powder to soften, brighten, and gently exfoliate.
Encourage gentle physical and chemical exfoliation with this cleansing powder containing bromelain, a mixture of enzymes naturally found in pineapples. This helps remove keratin proteins from the skin’s surface to reveal brighter, fresher skin.

The directions are super simple. Dispense a teaspoon of Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder into palms. Mix with a few drops of water to form a creamy foam. Use more water for gentler exfoliation.
Massage into skin with circular motions. Rinse thoroughly. Use up to 4x a week. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
It looks like it has an extremely similar format to the Dermalogica Microfoliant, except the Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder is considerably cheaper, and it’s available right now.
