Glow Recipe have been teasing their newest launch over the last few days, and finally today the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore Tight Toner was revealed.
I really love Glow Recipe as a brand, and I’ve never not enjoyed any of the products I’ve tried. I know their products can appear quite gimmicky, but the formulas are anything but gimmicky.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore Tight Toner
The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore Tight Toner is, in a nutshell, a gentle, PHA- and BHA-infused watermelon toner that hydrates skin and minimizes the appearance of pores.
It’s part of the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow collection, and is said to be suitable for those with normal, dry, combination and oily skin types.
The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore Tight Toner is designed to both hydrate the skin, and tighten the pores at once with a super gentle formula for supple, smooth skin.
Results: After 2 weeks, in a clinical study of 30 subjects, 90% of subjects saw a significant reduction in pore size
Its innovative formula contains a balance of hydrating ingredients and pore-tightening actives to equally minimize the look of pores and hydrate skin, with gentle yet effective pore actives such as PHA and BHA.
The formula was inspired by the popular Korean Aqua Peel Facial, which focuses on the duality of exfoliating and hydrating, this pore-perfecting toner helps achieve instantly glowing, pillow-soft skin.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore Tight Toner is $34 / £31 and contains 150ml of product, within a glass bottle.
I always love the unique packaging designs that Glow Recipe use. This bottle looks like it could be a bottle of watermelon juice, with pink coloured product inside the bottle.
Interestingly, this is marketed as being a toner, but there’s actually three ways in which you can use it:
- Toner – Cleanse, and then move on to this first liquid treatment in your routine. Dispense into the palm of hands and gently pat into skin—don’t wipe away or rub. Follow with your serum, moisturizer, and SPF or overnight mask (depending on the time of day!)
- Spot Treatment – After cleansing, apply to areas of concern and pat into skin until fully absorbed.
- Face Mask – Use Watermelon Pore-Tight Toner as a mini mask! After cleansing, soak your cotton pads with Watermelon Pore-Tight Toner and leave on your skin for 10 minutes. Follow with your usual skin-care routine.
I really would love to buy the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore Tight Toner once it launches at Cult Beauty, as the formula sounds amazing.
As I mentioned above, I am a big Glow Recipe fan and their Watermelon Face Mist is one of my favourite face mists, so I can only imagine how lovely this toner is.
