The December edition of beauty boxes is typically the best box all year, so I was intrigued to see what was inside the Glossybox December 2020 edition. Glossybox have created some really great limited edition boxes throughout 2020, including their Fenty Box which launched last week and sold out in under an hour!
Glossybox December 2020
The Glossybox December 2020 edition has already sold out which is crazy as people are only just receiving their boxes, so it sold out before people even saw what was inside. So you won’t be able to purchase this exact box unfortunately.
The box itself has a beautiful pink and white glittery design, and it’s really cute, especially if you repurpose your beauty boxes. I think it would double up as a gift box too, and it’s filled with pink shredded paper. If you’d like to see what’s inside the Glossybox December 2020 edit, keep on reading..
The first item in the box is the Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks worth £4, and you get one pair of masks. These are individually-packaged under-eye masks designed to brighten, hydrate and reduce the appearance of dark under-eye circles and puffiness.
Next up in the Glossybox December 2020 is the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Solid Jar Mini 30g worth £1.50. This is such a boring product for a festive themed beauty box, and it’s such a tiny sample too which is disappointing. You could also potentially receive the lotion version in a tube, but this is a hard body butter which melts on contact with the skin.
Glossybox are obsessed with SportFX and I’m not entirely sure why. It’s a mediocre brand at best, and in this month’s box we get the SportFX Blend & Go Makeup Blending Sponge worth £4.99. It’s a red coloured, eight sided makeup sponge, and that’s all there really is to say about it.
The next item in the Glossybox December 2020 is the product which was sneak peeked in their November box, and is the Symbiosis Overnight Rejuvenating Eye Serum 15ml worth £102. This is described as helping reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
The final product in this month’s box is the Nailberry L’Oxygene Oxygenated Nail Lacquer in the shade Strawberry Jam worth £14.50, which is a full sized berry red nail polish. It’s said to have a kind-to-nails formula, and it looks like the perfect festive red shade.
So they are all of the products inside the December edition of Glossybox for 2020. It’s a mixed box for me. Considering it’s their December box, if you removed the sparkly box, it’s not an exciting, festive box.
There’s no makeup products, and it’s left me feeling a little underwhelmed in all honesty. Glossybox consistently wow with their limited edition boxes, so I hope their January box is a little more exciting..
