There’s very exciting news for Glossier fans, as the Glossier You Solid Perfume has been brought back and is now part of the brand’s permanent collection.
The Glossier You Solid Perfume originally launched back in 2018, and was discontinued from their range, which upset a lot of Glossier fans. However, the brand has listened to the feedback, and they’ve decided to bring it back, and I for one, can’t wait to try it.
Glossier You Solid Perfume
“Glossier You, the ultimate personal fragrance, in the ultimate personal format—a refillable, pocket and travel friendly, solid compact.
Creamy, warm, sparkling notes of ambrox, ambrette, musk, iris root and pink pepper are encased in a metal compact that’s sculpted to perfectly fit the curve of your palm and thumb, with an addictively flippable swivel.
The solid formula is softer and more intimate, with an alcohol-free, anhydrous wax base that quite literally melts into skin and holds the fragrance close, almost like it’s a part of you. Instead of being surrounded by a cloud of scent, you get friendly reminders throughout the day when you catch a whiff of your wrist or the neck of your sweater.“
The Glossier You Solid Perfume has been redesigned with eco-friendly packaging. With the fragrance being housed within a removable, recyclable tin pan, which secures into a weighted metal compact thanks to a magnet.
Glossier have designed the compact to be pink enamel, with a hidden smile wave, a debossed Glossier logo, and an ergonomic thumbprint design. It’s also packed in a recyclable, moulded paper carton and secured with a reusable rubber band for safe transit.
The Glossier You Solid Perfume is £24 to buy, but you can purchase the refill of the fragrance individually for £14, and you can then refill your enamel compact once you’re done.
The pan contains 3g / 0.11oz of product, and is designed to be applied to wherever you want the fragrance, from your wrist and neck, to your pulse points.
Glossier You Eau de Parfum is my number one favourite, signature scent, so I’m really excited to try this solid version. I didn’t try it when it launched originally in 2018, so I’m intrigued to see what the sillage is like with the solid format, and it’s available right now.
