New Glossier products are always exciting, and the Glossier Universal Pro-Retinol Nightly Renewing Complex is particularly exciting if you’ve been waiting for Glossier to launch their very own retinol infused skincare.
Glossier have a pretty extensive skincare collection, but this is their first retinol offering. It’s set to launch on the 31st of August on the Glossier website, and it sounds like an amazing overnight retinol skincare treatment.
The Glossier Universal Pro-Retinol Nightly Renewing Complex contains 35ml / 1.18 fl. oz of product within a baby pink plastic bottle with a pump dispenser, and white lid. Once it launches on the 31st of August, it’ll be available for $35, which is quite reasonable for a potent retinol treatment.
The Glossier Universal Pro-Retinol Nightly Renewing Complex is infused with 0.5% Retinyl Sunflowerate, which is a retinol derivative, that is composted of both retinol and sunflower seed fatty acids, helping to minimise the appearance of fine line, dark spots, large pores, dull skin, uneven skintone and texture, as well as blemishes.
Its formula also features ingredients such as mondo grass root extract, and stevia extra which have been added to help smoothen the skin, and help you to eliminate any unwanted irritation.
For your evening routine online. Smooth a pea-sized pump over freshly cleansed and patted-dry skin, allow it to absorb for 15 seconds or so, then follow with a moisturiser. Start with one or two nights a week, increasing slowly to every night.
Retinol is renowned for causing irritation and peeling, when you first introduce retinol in to your skincare routine, so starting slowly is definitely the best option to let your skin get used to its potency.
The Glossier Universal Pro-Retinol Nightly Renewing Complex sounds like an amazing retinol, and I can’t wait to give it a try myself. If you fancy getting your hands on it, it’ll be available right here.
