There’s a very exciting Glossier launch this week, and it’s the Glossier Monochromes Eyeshadow Palettes collection. I have been patiently waiting for Glossier powder shadows, and now they’re finally happening, and I cannot wait to try them.
I love the Glossier Skywash Liquid Shadows and their Lidstar Liquid Shadows, so I really hope these new powder shadows are just as impressive.

“Meet Monochromes: Your signature shade, three ways. Our refillable, monochromatic eyeshadow trio in 10 vegan, talc-free shades, each with 3 essential finishes – matte, metallic and satin. Sometimes you just want more of what you love!“
To announce the launch of the Glossier Monochromes Eyeshadow Palettes, Glossier did an advert with the NY Times, and they shared a video of the booklet, showing all of the new palettes.
There’s ten palettes in total, and each palette contains three shadows in three finishes, in monochromatic themed trios. Each of the compacts is white, square and have a raised square finish, in what looks to be a tin-style packaging.
Each Glossier Monochromes Eyeshadow Palettes compact was designed to be reusable and recyclable. To refill, just pop your finished trio out and swap with a fresh one.
The Glossier Monochromes Eyeshadow Palettes are going to be launching on the 29th of September, and we can see all ten of the palette names are going to be;
- Almond – beige neutrals
- Bluff – pale pinks
- Teak – cool toned browns
- Rosin – yellow golds
- Heather – cranberry tones
- Jute – greys and taupes
- Mist – lilacs
- Prairie – olive greens
- Clay – pink toned browns
- Mesa – warm toned browns
All ten Glossier Monochromes Eyeshadow Palettes look so pretty, and they’re going to be $22 each, with the refill being $18.
They are quite pricey for just three shades, but it’ll be good to see what the pigmentation and colour payoff is like, but I can’t wait to try them, and they’ll be available right here.
