Glossier Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow Review / Swatches

I’ve tried quite a few Glossier products this year, and I ordered the Glossier Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow Liquid Eyeshadow as part of the Glossier sale earlier this year. I love cream eyeshadows, so I was intrigued to give them a try, as the reviews on the Glossier website are pretty positive.

Glossier Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow

Creates a sheer veil of color that locks onto lids without creasing (so no need for primer). Ultrafine pigments are enveloped in a buttery base for a silky, blendable formula that swipes on easily. Each shade features different pearls, flecks, and pigments, for multidimensional color that glows.

The Glossier Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow is available in a total of eight different shades, and are £15 each. The packaging is super sleek, with almost a test tube shaped clear plastic tube, with a doefoot applicator.

Glossier describe the liquid eyeshadows as soft, glistening eye colour that lasts all day. All eight shades look so pretty and shimmery, but I had to choose the Herb shade, as I’m a sucker for green shadows, especially khaki or olive green shades, and Herb looked like the most perfect shimmery green.

The Glossier Lidstar Glistening Eye Glow is a sheer liquid eyeshadow, which can be easily built up for a more opaque coverage. It feels cooling on the lids, but is so easy to apply and blend out with fingertips or a brush.

The formula does take a little time to dry fully, and it can crease if you don’t allow it to fully dry. Herb is a deep khaki green, with golden shimmer, which looks so pretty.

The formula is long lasting, and I never need to use an eyeshadow primer underneath. Once dried, it’s a little subtle, but it’s perfect for every day, and Herb is a beaitiful shade.
