I love a good limited edition makeup collection, and the Givenchy Le Rouge Gardens Lipstick collection is extremely beautiful. Givenchy Gardens is a whole collection, which was created in tribute to Monsieur de Givenchy’s over 40 years of passion for the Jonchet gardens.
Nicolas Degennes took inspiration from the colors of the peony to create both the packaging and the different shades of the Spring collection. It comprises products for the complexion, eyes and lips for a fresh and intense make-up.
Givenchy Le Rouge Gardens Lipstick
For spring 2020, the Le Rouge casing is decorated with three different floral paintings, featuring a triptych of exclusive prints that are made to recall nature’s renewal and unveil a new limited edition texture.
The lipstick bullets are sprayed with a fine iridescent mist, projecting a metallic shine for a pretty frosted effect. The starry pigments add light and sublimate the natural curve of the lips, with a nourishing formula promising softness and light for an intense, long wearing result.
Sparkling Peony N°01, a bright pink colour studded with golden illuminating pigments, recalling peony, symbol of everlasting femininity.
Sparkling Poppy N°02, a deep red embellished with pink illuminating pigments evoking poppy, symbol of renewal.
Sparkling Lily N°03, a radiant orange enhanced with silvery illuminating pigments embodying a bouquet of lilies and irises, symbols of purity and nobility.
The Sparkling Peony shade is a radiant pink, embellished with blue-toned shimmer, and the cap is adorned with a garden blossoming with peonies, the symbol of everlasting femininity.
The Sparkling Poppy shade is a vibrant red, embellished with pink-toned shimmer, and the cap is adorned with a field of poppies, the symbol of spring and renewal.
The Sparkling Lily shade softly is a summery orange, embellished with pink-toned shimmer, and the cap is adorned with a bouquet of irises, the symbol of royalty and purity.
There are three shades of the Givenchy Le Rouge Gardens Lipstick available, and they’re £30.50 each. Givenchy lipsticks all have stunning packaging, but the Givenchy Le Rouge Gardens Lipstick is another level.
The cases feature the prettiest floral design, and the lipstick bullets look incredible with their glittery effect. They almost look too pretty to use, and I can totally understand why they’re so popular as they’re one of the prettiest lipstick designs I’ve ever seen.
As they are limited edition, there’s no doubt that the three Givenchy Le Rouge Gardens Lipstick shades will sell out quickly, but the whole Givenchy Gardens collection looks beautiful, so if you can’t get hold of the lipsticks, there’s other super pretty products to choose from.
