If you’re in the market for a new blemish treatment, the Garnier Pure Active SOS Anti-Blemish Stick has launched as part of the Garnier Pure Active collection.
I was particularly intrigued by this treatment stick because it contains zinc, and I find zinc based blemish treatments to be really effective for healing breakouts.

My personal holy grail blemish treatment was the Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot, however Vichy recently discontinued the product and replaced it with the Vichy Normaderm SOS Sulphur Anti-Spot Paste which I reviewed right here.
I think the new sulphur paste is really disappointing and it doesn’t help at all, so I’m on the hunt for the perfect replacement, and I’ve purchased this new Garnier Pure Active SOS Anti-Blemish Stick and will report back to let you know if it’s any good?
So what is the Garnier Pure Active SOS Anti-Blemish Stick? It’s described as being an immediate and effective spot treatment with a gel formula that creates an invisible film over the affected area to quickly target imperfections and reduce the appearance of blemishes.
The formula is enriched with Salicylic Acid to promote skin cell turnover, Zinc to help regulate sebum production, Eucalyptus to refresh the skin and also Niacinamide, a known soothing ingredient.
Garnier claims the Garnier Pure Active SOS Anti-Blemish Stick dries out imperfections in 5 hours (89% agree) and marks appear reduced in 2 days (76% agree). Consumer test on 37 women during 4 weeks – product applied 2 times per day.
