What’s included within the Fenty Skin The Before Bed Set?
Fenty Beauty Pro Kiss’r Luscious Lip Balm in shade Hint Hint
Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum with Niacinamide
Fenty Skin Instant Reset Brightening Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream with Niacinamide
The three products are designed to be used in steps, with the following steps: Tone + Treat with the Fat Water, Hydrate + Recover with the Overnight Recovery Gel Cream, and finishing with Condition + Prep with the Pro Kiss’r Luscious Lip Balm.
I’ve tried quite a few products from Fenty Beauty, but never Fenty Skin, so I decided the Fenty Skin The Before Bed Set would be the perfect starter kit for the brand. I like that the lip balm is clear, as it’s ideal for applying before bed, and it has a delicious minty vanilla kinda of scent.
The Instant Reset Gel Creme is more cream than gel, and it’s a lot richer than I thought it would be. It does absorb nicely though, in a matter of seconds, and it doesn’t really have a scent.
It does leave the fingers feeling a bit tacky after you’ve massaged it in, but it’s strange, as it doesn’t leave the face/neck feeling tacky, but I like it.
The third product in the Fenty Skin The Before Bed Set, is the Fat Water, which has the strangest name. It’s got a strange delivery method too, you twist the lid, and the ‘water’ is dispensed through a tiny hole in the cap by shaking the bottle.
It’s a different texture to what I expected. I kinda thought it would be like an essence, and feel watery, but it’s more of a gel, which makes sense as it’s supposedly a toner serum.
It doesn’t feel or apply like a water, so it’s a bizarre name. I don’t love how sticky the product feels on the skin, as it leaves a sticky residue, and I use toners to leave my skin feeling clean and fresh, and I don’t get that with this specific product, so it’s my least favourite product from the whole set. However, overall it’s a great Fenty Skin starter set, and it’s available right now.
