Until now, the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r collection consisted of the Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation, Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer, Pro Filt’r Concealer, Pro Filt’r Amplifying Eye Primer, Pro Filt’r Hydrating Primer and the Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Loose Setting Powder.
Fenty Beauty are not messing about with their Pro Filt’r collection, and the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation is the newest addition. They do already have a powder within the collection, but it’s a loose setting powder.
This new launch is a pressed powder in an amazing 50 shades to match the shade range of both of their foundations, and the shade correspond between the ranges too, so you’ll be able to easily find your shade match.
I don’t know why more brands don’t do the same shade across their base products, as it makes so much more sense, and makes it easier for shade matching.

The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation has been created to be a longwearing, light-as-air powder foundation with zero flashbacks. Featuring the brands Blur Filt’r complex to deliver the ultimate, blurred finish.
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation is said to offer a sweat-resistant, humidity-resistant and crease-resistant formula, which is buildable with light to full coverage ‘that loves to be layered’. Fenty also claim it won’t settle into fine lines, nor will it clog pores or cake up on the skin.
Directions
- After Moisturizing, apply your favourite Pro Filt’r primer and let set for best results.
- Use the included sponge to build to your desired coverage for a flawless, blurred finish. We recommend the Powder Puff Setting Brush 170 for light coverage. For medium to full coverage, apply using the Kabuki Buff Foundation Brush 115.
