Now we're literally a day away from Pride month, allllll of the Pride ‘inspired' collections are launching.
The Eylure Festival Rainbow Lash Collection has launched, with a very obvious Pride theme as the boxes of the lashes feature a rainbow design.
However they don't mention Pride anywhere on the packaging, which feels a little inappropriate as they're taking advantage of Pride, without even referencing Pride, which isn't OK.
Eylure Festival Rainbow Lash Collection
All four sets of lashes are the same lash style, but each set has a different coloured layer of lashes.
“Introducing the Eylure Limited-Edition Festival Lashes. This gorgeous rainbow lash collection is made up of 4 colored double layer lash styles.
Each lash is delicate & elegant with loads of layered depth for a colorful crisscrossed, textured finish.” – Eylure
Each set of lashes are handmade and reusable for up to 5 wears, and every lash pack also comes with a small tube of Eylure latex free lash glue that is guaranteed to last up to 18 hours. I don't know if they will launch in the UK, but I'll update this post if they do.
Many brands create colourful lashes which are just one colour and a little full on, but I really like the look of the Eylure Festival Rainbow Lash Collection as they feature the normal black fibre lashes you'd get with a pair of lashes, but there's a layer of colourful lashes blended in.
So you're still getting pretty, colourful lashes, but they just look like they're going to be more wearable.
The brand still needs to reference Pride and the minority group it represents, when they're using Pride as the inspiration for the collection; even more so when they're using the Live, Love & Lash tagline for this collection.
