Now Christmas is over, it’s all about the Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day launches, and the Essie Valentine’s Day 2022 Nail Polish Collection has launched with six beautiful hues to celebrate the ‘month of love’. If you’d like to find out all about the latest Essie collection, keep on reading…
For 2021, Essie launched their Cupid’s Beau Valentine’s Day Collection, and it doesn’t look like the 2022 collection has a name, apart from being the Essie Valentine’s Day 2022 Nail Polish Collection.
It’s strange how Essie have names for some of their collections, or they just name them the season they’ve launched. I wish they did names for every collection, like OPI, as it makes it easier to tell them apart, or find the shades when ordering online.
“6 love note-worthy shades you’ll want to keep close to your heart.“
Just like last year’s Valentine’s Day collection, the Essie Valentine’s Day 2022 Nail Polish Collection features six shades with a patterned wrap design on the lids.
This year’s design is clear, with silver hearts and lockets, which is kinda cute. I wish Essie did more special edition packaging designs on their limited edition collections, as they always look so pretty. Let’s take a look at the six shades in the collection;
Essie Lips Are Sealed – a blush pink nail polish with blue undertones and a cream finish.
Essie Love-Note Worthy – a deep, crimson red nail polish with blue undertones and a cream finish.
Essie Pretty In Ink – a soft pink nail polish with blue undertones and refined silver shimmer.
Essie Quill You Be Mine – a white nail polish with grey undertones and refined silver shimmer.
Essie Respond With A Kiss – a dusty, mid-tone neutral nail polish with pink undertones and a cream finish.
Essie Under Locket & Key – a tarnished, shimmering silver nail polish with refined silver and gold pearls.
For a Valentine’s Day themed nail polish collection, I think all six shades of the Essie Valentine’s Day 2022 Nail Polish Collection look really pretty.
My personal favourites would have to be Pretty In Pink, as it almost looks like pink quartz on the nails, and Under Locket & Key, which looks so unique compared to the usual Essie polishes, and all six shades are available right now.
