The Essie Hostess With The Mostess Midsummer 2022 Collection has been revealed as the mid-summer collection for Essie. We’ve also seen the launch of the Essie Expressie FX Collection Summer 2022 this week, as well as the Essie Isle See You Later Summer 2022 Trend collection.
Essie always launches a Midsummer collection, as a transition collection between summer and fall, and this six-piece collection carries the Hostess With The Mostess theme. If you’d like to find out all about this newest Essie Hostess With The Mostess Midsummer 2022 Collection, keep on reading…
“Your midsummer garden gathering is finally here with the Hostess with the Mostess Collection by essie: a medley of 6 nail polish shades inspired by a kitschy garden gathering in full bloom, sold exclusively at CVS. From the essie collection, which has produced more than one thousand shades and counting.“
The Essie Hostess With The Mostess Midsummer 2022 Collection features six different shades, all of which are said to be garden-inspired. This collection is currently exclusive to CVS, but should be available at other Essie stockists within the coming weeks, and I’ll be sure to update this post once that happens. Let’s take a look at all six shades;
Essie Buzz-Worth Bash Nail Polish – marigold yellow glossy shine nail polish with a cream finish
Essie Blooming Friendships Nail Polish – a light sky blue nail polish with yellow undertones and a cream finish
Essie Hostess With The Mostess Nail Polish – a peachy neutral nail polish with pink undertones and a cream finish
Essie Rose To The Occasion Nail Polish – a watermelon pink nail polish with blue undertones and a cream finish
Essie In Good Taste Nail Polish – a cool-toned taupey neutral nail polish with red undertones and a cream finish
Essie Centerpiece Of Attention Nail Polish – a midtone neutral nail polish with yellow undertones and a cream finish, OR Essie Dance Til Dessert
What’s strange about the Essie Hostess With The Mostess Midsummer 2022 Collection is that the sixth shade is called Centrepiece Of Attention in the US, however, this shade is called Dance Til Dessert in Europe. So, depending on your location, you’re either getting a camel nude, or a deep teal.
Both shades are pretty, but it’s just strange to have a different color for the sixth shade. Possibly there was an ingredients issue with the super strict European rules on cosmetic ingredients, but I had to include both shades, so you could see which is which. If you like the look of the collection, it’s available right now.
