The Essie Expressie Sk8 With Destiny Collection has been revealed as being the latest collection for the Essie Expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish formula in their range.
If you’ve never tried the Essie Expressie formula before, it’s Essie’s quick drying nail polish, which dries in ‘about’ a minute, and the bottles feature an angled brush, for easy self-application with both hands.

“Essie Expressie Sk8 with Destiny Collection, edgy quick dry nail polish colors in a vegan formula that does not contain animal derived ingredients.“
I’m a big fan of Essie nail polishes, but I’m yet to try the Expressive formula. I’ve read really great things though, and it’s described as being an 8-free, vegan formula, formulated without the following ingredients: toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, dibutyl phthalate, xylene and triphenyl phosphate free.
The Essie Expressie Sk8 With Destiny Collection includes six different shades, so let’s take a look at the whole collection, shade names, and descriptions;
Essie Bearer Of Rad News Expressie Nail Polish – Electric orange quick-dry nail polish with red undertones
Essie Daily Grind Expressie Nail Polish – White quick-dry nail polish with yellow undertones
Essie Left On Shred Expressie Nail Polish – Deep navy blue quick-dry nail polish with red undertones
Essie Sk8 With Destiny Expressie Nail Polish – Bright lilac quick-dry nail polish with blue undertones
Essie Street Wear ‘n Tear Expressie Nail Polish – Green quick-dry nail polish with blue undertones
Essie Trick Clique Expressie Nail Polish – Hot pink quick-dry nail polish with blue undertones
I have to admit, the Essie Expressie Sk8 With Destiny Collection doesn’t give me skater vibes. I don’t know what kind of colours I’d associate with a skater themed collection, but I’m not sure an orange, cream, navy, lilac, green and pink are that. I do like the names, and the shades are all pretty, with a creme formula, and they’re available right now.
