The Essence Spring Summer 2020 update has dropped, and one of the products that caught my eye is the Essence Witch Side Eyeshadow Palette as well as the new Blush Lighter Gradient Blushers.
Essence are seemingly always launching something new, and when it comes to eyeshadow palettes, they tend to focus on smaller more edited eyeshadow palettes with five or six shades so the Essence Witch Side Eyeshadow Palette is really unique compared to what they usually launch in way of eyeshadow palettes.

The Essence Witch Side Eyeshadow Palette is €9.95 so once it launches at Wilko, I expect it’ll be around the £10 price point which is pricey for Essence but it is a large eyeshadow palette.
The palette has cardboard style packaging with 15 powder eyeshadows. The packaging is giving me Huda Beauty vibes, with the eyes on the front and the finish of some shades inside too.
The palette contains a mixture of matte, shimmer and marbled eyeshadow finishes. There are four marbled finish eyeshadows that are very reminiscent of the marbled shades inside the Huda Beauty New Nude Eyeshadow Palette.
Inside the palette, the shades include pretty mauve, pink and lilac tones with a random navy which doesn’t really complement the other shades but I love the look of the other 14.
The swatches look pretty, although the navy shade looks really patchy and disappointing, however even with the patchy navy, it looks like such a pretty yet wearabable eyeshadow palette.
