As part of the latest Essence Cosmetics Autumn / Winter 2022 Trend Edition collection, the Essence Welcome to Marrakesh Eyeshadow Palette launched, as one of a few new eye palettes in their range.
I’ve also shared the beautiful new Hidden Jungle Nail Polish Collection, but this new palette is the latest addition to the ‘Essence Welcome To’ collection, which are a range of palettes themed around different cities across the globe.
What Is The Essence Welcome to Marrakesh Eyeshadow Palette?
The Essence Welcome to Marrakesh Eyeshadow Palette is a limited edition twelve-pan eyeshadow palette, which is inspired by the Moroccan city of Marrakesh. Essence has lots of palettes within this series, each featuring a packaging design and colour story, to represent each individual city.
“The welcome to MARRAKESH eyeshadow palette is inspired by the Moroccan city. The color world of the 12 highly pigmented eyeshadows is a perfectly coordinated combination of warm and cool colors with different finishes from matt to metallic. The powder texture is easy to apply and blend – for varied looks.“
The Welcome to Marrakesh Eyeshadow Palette features cardboard packaging, with a mirror inside the lid. On the cover of the palette, there’s a colourful design of a Moroccan bazaar, and there’s a camel design on one of the shades, as well as a flower on another shade.
Essence Welcome to Marrakesh Eyeshadow Palette Swatches
The shades are not individually named within the palette, but you get a mix of matte, shimmer and marbled finishes, with neutrals, lilacs, a pop of bright pink, and a deep berry.
The shades look pretty, although the first swatch on each of the four arms looks extremely patchy (the matte lilac), but the rest of the swatches look smooth, and pigmented, and it’s available right now.
