Essence have dropped their spring summer 2020 update, and it includes the Essence Stay 8h Matte Liquid Lipstick collection as well as the Witch Side Eyeshadow Palette.
Essence lip products always prove to be popular, and I have no doubt that this new lipstick range will be the same, especially as I believe the formula sounds very similar to the cult favourite NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams.

The Essence Stay 8h Matte Liquid Lipstick has a matte formula with nine lifestyle-proof shades that remain flawless and light on the lips that last upto eight hours on the lips.
Featuring a liquid texture that transforms into an intensive matte finish immediately upon application, offering a beautiful long lasting wearing comfort.

The Essence Stay 8h Matte Liquid Lipstick collection is shown to have only five shades on the Essence website, yet the description and swatches show that there are nine shades, so I don’t know if the nine shades is exclusive to the US, and Europe only have five?
Either way, the nine shades on offer look really pretty with nudes, peach, pink, mauve and red shades.
The packaging of the lipsticks looks very similar to the NYX Soft Matte Lipsticks, except these lipsticks have longer, skinnier tubes compared to the chunky tubes of the NYX version – both formulas have an identical doefoot applicator too.
The Essence Stay 8h Matte Liquid Lipstick collection have launched in mainland Europe, and will launch within the UK very soon too.
