Essence are on fire with their interesting new launches right now, and the Essence My Skin Perfector Tinted Primer is just one of many new products they launched within their spring 2020 update.
I am a big, big fan of the Essence primers, especially the Fresh and Fit Primer, so I was interested to see what the Essence My Skin Perfector Tinted Primer was all about.
Essence My Skin Perfector Tinted Primer
The my SKIN PERFECTOR TINTED PRIMERS are the perfect basis for a flawless and long-lasting make-up look. The pleasantly light and mousse-like texture blends irresistibly softly with the skin.
Applied alone, the velvety primer creates a naturally covered, smooth skin texture. Used as a base and in combination with make-up, it conjures-up a flawless complexion.
Ingredients
ISODODECANE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, SILICA DIMETHYL SILYLATE, STEARYL DIMETHICONE, DIMETHICONE, PROPYLENE CARBONATE, OCTADECENE, TROPOLONE, LAURETH-4, GLYCERYL DIBEHENATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES), CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE).
- Weightless mousse texture
- Feels silky soft on the skin
- Visibly minimizes the pores
- Naturally smooth and matt finish
- Can be worn alone or as a base under foundation
The Essence My Skin Perfector Tinted Primer is available in just three shades; 10 Light Beige, 20 Nude Beige and 30 Medium Beige.
Usually I’d berate a brand for such a limited shade range, but these are tinted primers, so they’re ideally supposed to be worn underneath makeup so an exact shade match isn’t as important as say a foundation would be.
I’m not entirely sure why you’d need to use a tinted primer unless it had some sort of colour correction properties, or you were going to wear it on its own as more of a tinted moisturiser kind of product.
The primers are packaged within squeezy plastic tubes, contain 30ml and are €3.95 each, making them super budget friendly and hopefully they’ll launch at Wilko very soon.
