The Essence spring collection has dropped, with a heck of a lot of new products, including the Essence Hydro Hero 24H Hydrating Tinted Cream.
Essence and Catrice are sister brands, and they’re forever launching something new, and their products tend to be discontinued quite quickly, due to how quickly they churn out new stuff, but keep on reading to find out more…
Essence Hydro Hero 24H Hydrating Tinted Cream
“The hydro hero 24h HYDRATING TINTED CREAM combines foundation, moisturizer and sun protection in one product. Thanks to the buildable, light to medium coverage, the BB Cream gives an even complexion with a fresh, natural finish. 24h – that’s how long the day care moisturizes.”
Essence describes the product as being able to protect the skin from UV radiation thanks to SPF20, with a weightless, oil-free texture that consists of 88% natural ingredients. The formula is said to be enriched with hyaluronic acid, and is free from alcohol, silicone and perfume.
The Essence Hydro Hero 24H Hydrating Tinted Cream claims to be a 3-in-1 base product, with it being a foundation, moisturiser and your sun protection all-in-one. It offers light to medium coverage, and Essence claim it feels comfortable on the skin, without clogging the pores.
Key Benefits
- The tinted BB Cream provides 24-hour moisture and protects against UV radiation with SPF 20
- With 88% natural ingredients & hyaluronic acid, formulated without perfume, silicone, alcohol & oil free
- Gives an even complexion thanks to light to medium, buildable coverage
The Essence Hydro Hero 24H Hydrating Tinted Cream is available in just three shades;
- 05 Natural Ivory
- 10 Soft Nude
- 20 Sun Beige
As the product is a tinted moisturiser, the shades will be more flexible than say a foundation, but three shades is still disappointing regardless. Recently, Essence promoted their inclusive shade range on their Pretty Natural Foundation, as it has 42 shades, so for them to go back to such limited shade ranges, it seems like a backwards step.
If you’re looking for a lightweight base for spring/summer, with added SPF, the new Essence Hydro Hero 24H Hydrating Tinted Cream could be worth a try, if you’re able to find a shade match, and it’s available right now.
