Em Cosmetics Daydream Cushion Perfect & Protect SPF50
If you’re a long time watcher of Michelle Phan’s YouTube video, you’ll know how much she loves cushion foundations, so it makes perfect sense that her brand would create their own version.
The Em Cosmetics Daydream Cushion Perfect & Protect SPF50 is designed to perfect and protect your complexion with a serum-infused formula within a cushion compact.
It features a beautiful, sheer and buildable formula that provides the skin with a hint of colour, whilst enhancing skintone and diffusing any imperfections.
Em Cosmetics claim the new Em Cosmetics Daydream Cushion Perfect & Protect SPF50 is suitable for all skin types, and will be available in six different shades with optically diffused pigments which allow each shade to stretch across multiple skin tones.
Multi-use formula can be used a primer underneath your foundation, it can be worn alone as a tinted SPF or paired with a concealer for extra coverage.
It’s described as having an easy to apply formula with UVA/UVB broad spectrum SPF50 PA+++ protection throughout the day.
The Em Cosmetics Daydream Cushion Perfect & Protect SPF50 has a youth-enhancing, breathable formula that smooths the look of the pores and dries down to a refreshing illuminating and skin mimicking finish.
There’s the following six shades;
- Cloud Dream – fair / light
- Gentle Light – light / medium
- Sweet Secret – medium / tan
- Summer Hue – tan / dark
- Warm Dark – dark / deep
- Magic Cream – deep / ebony
I think it’s really exciting that Em Cosmetics have created their own cushion foundation, especially one with such great UVA / UVB protection. I feel like the shade range could be better, but cushion foundations are definitely more forgiving in terms of shade, so I imagine the six shades will complement many skin tones.
The official sale date hasn’t been shared yet, but as soon as it has, and pricing information, I’ll be sure to update this post with further information.
