ELF SRSLY Satin Lipstick

If you’re into budget friendly beauty, ELF are a great brand, and I like how often they launch new products. It’s not as overwhelming as say ColourPop or Revolution, but there’s always something new to try.

I shared a couple of their newest launches with you this week, such as their ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadows and ELF Sheer Slick Lipsticks.

If the Sheer Slick Lipsticks weren’t your thing, as you prefer a more opaque, full on lip colour, their new ELF SRSLY Satin Lipstick might be exactly what you’re looking for.

ELF SRSLY Satin Lipstick

The ELF SRSLY Satin Lipstick has been designed to hug the curves of your lips, providing an intense colour payoff. They’re formulated for a comfortable wear, so your lips will look and feel good, with a 100% vegan and cruelty free formula.

Directions

Apply directly to lips in a swiping motion, starting from the middle of the lips and moving towards the corners.

ELF SRSLY Satin Lipstick

The ELF SRSLY Satin Lipstick are $3 each, and are £3 to purchase within the UK too. The packaging on the lipsticks does look quite cheap, with clear plastic tubes but it’s a $3 lipstick so it’s never going to look luxurious.

When it comes to budget brands, it’s more beneficial that they put the money into the formula rather than the packaging, as long as the packaging is functional.

ELF SRSLY Satin Lipstick

The ELF SRSLY Satin Lipstick is available in a total of ten different shades;

  • Creme
  • Sugarplum
  • Cider
  • Taffy
  • Nectar
  • Cherry
  • Pepper
  • Persimmon
  • Raspberry
  • Cocoa

Many of the shades are bold and bright, with only a couple of nude shades. Just look how pigmented the shades look in these swatches by ELF, they look so saturated with colour with a decent level of shine too.

For $3 each, they look and sound like a great lipstick formula, but if you prefer a sheerer wash of colour, their Sheer Slick Lipsticks would be a better match.
