Earlier today I showcased the new ELF Putty Blusher collection, and the ELF Putty Primer Applicator is launching alongside the blushers too. The ELF Putty Blushers are available in eight really pretty shades, and this ELF Putty Primer Applicator is designed to be used with their three different Putty Primers.
ELF Putty Primer Applicator
“A dual-ended tool ideal for use with all putty primers. The tool includes a spatula to scoop out the putty primer and a dense bristle brush to easily blend in the primer.“
The ELF Putty Primer Applicator is $6 and houses a dense buffing brush on one side, and then a scoop on the other side. So you’re supposed to use the scoop to pick up the putty from the jar, and then you can apply it to the face with the brush.

I’m not entirely sold on this idea, as you could use any existing makeup brush you already own and whilst a spatula is a good idea to prevent bacteria getting into the jar of primer, do we really need this ELF Putty Primer Applicator?
I love ELF brushes, so I have no doubt that this is a lovely brush, but it just feels a little redundant, especially as most of us have little spatulas already, but it’s available right now, if you do like the idea of a 2-in-1 brush / spatula, to use with their primers.
