Buxom launched a range of primer infused blushes at the start of 2019, and they proved to be very popular. It was only a matter of time before a drugstore brand created their own version, and that brand is ELF.
The new ELF Primer Infused Blush Collection have just launched this past week, and I really can’t wait to try them as soon as they launch within the UK.
ELF Primer Infused Blush Collection
The ELF Primer Infused Blush Collection features long wearing matte blushes infused with lock on primer powder, designed to ensure a full day of perfectly placed blushes. The blush formula is said to be easy to apply and blend, perfectly pigmented for ease of application and grips your cheeks like second skin.
Directions
- Lightly dab a fluffy brush into the pan, then sweep across the cheeks for blush that lasts all day.
- Use with Lock On Face Foundation Glue for best results
Ingredients
Talc, Dimethicone, Silica, Nylon-12, Magnesium Stearate, Magnesium Palmitate, Boron Nitride, PTFE, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Tocopheryl Acetate (Ve), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Bambusa Arundinacea (Bamboo) Stem Powder, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol MAY CONTAIN: Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850)
The ELF Primer Infused Blush Collection consists of seven different matte powder blush shades, and are $6 each and contain 10 grams of product. 10g is very generous for a powder blush, especially for $6 as the Buxom blushes are £16 each. The seven shades are; Always Punchy, Always Fiery, Always Cheeky, Always Spicy, Always Earthy, Always Peachy and Always Rosy.
The packaging of the blushes within the ELF Primer Infused Blush Collection is very similar to the packaging of the Buxom Wanderlust Blushes, with circular plastic compacts, with a clear lid so you can see the shades inside.
I really like the packaging, it looks sleek yet functional and all seven shades look like super pretty, wearable blush shades. Even though these blushes only just launched, there’s already 75+ reviews on the ELF US website and everyone is loving and raving about the formula, so I can’t wait to try them once they launch in Boots and Superdrug.
