ELF have unveiled their latest collection; the ELF Mint Melt Collection, which isn’t the type of collection you’d expect to see in December. ELF initially revealed just three products, leading us to think it was just a mini collection.
However, it’s actually a fourteen piece collection. If you’re crazy about mint coloured shades, you’re going to be obsessed with this new mini collection.
ELF Mint Melt Collection
Like the name suggests, the ELF Mint Melt Collection is a mint themed collection featuring fourteen different products. The promotional imagery for this new collection is themed around mint chocolate chip ice cream, and it’s so un-winter.
It seems like such a strange time to be dropping a mint ice cream themed collection, but maybe that’s just me? Summer would have been the perfect time for this monochromatic mint moment…
The ELF Mint Melt Collection includes the following products;
First up in the ELF Mint Melt Collection are the ELF Mint Melt Lip Plumping Lip Glosses, which are available in four different shades, and are $4 each.
“Plump up your pout with this ultra-moisturizing lip gloss, available in 4 exclusive and luxurious shades. Swipe on the gloss and evenly coat lips with a sheer wash of color and shine, plus a boost of fullness and hydration. The delicious vanilla mint scent will have you coming back for seconds.”
The four shades of gloss in the ELF Mint Melt Collection are;
All four glosses have clear plastic tubes, mint coloured plastic lids, doefoot applicators and include two shimmery shades, and two creme shades too.
Next up in the ELF Mint Melt Collection are two eyeshadows palettes; the ELF Mint Melt Bite Sized Eyeshadow Palettes, which are $4 each and contain four powder shadows.
Usually the Bite Size Palettes are white and clear plastic, but for this mint themed collection, they’re mint green and clear plastic palettes.
“These high-pigment eyeshadow quads feature matte and shimmer shades in rich hues of mint and brown. The luxe, creamy formula applies and blends with ease, then stays put to make the statement you want—whether that’s natural with a pop of mint or a decadently dramatic look.“
The two palettes are; Mint to Be and Chocolate Mint, and both palettes include both matte and shimmer shades. They both look very pretty, and are super affordable too at just $4 each.
Next up are the ELF Mint Melt No Budge Eyeshadow Sticks in three brand new shades, and they’re $5 each. If you’re yet to try these sticks, they’re basically super soft and creamy eyeshadows in a stick form, which you swipe all over the lid and then blend the edges with a brush or your fingertips.
The three shades are;
The ELF Mint Melt Collection also includes a $4 special mint edition of their Cleansing Cloud. ELF launched their Cleansing Cloud a few months back in a monochrome design, but for this collection, it’s been upgraded to a cute mint colour.
“Easily melt away makeup and impurities with this washable and reusable makeup remover pad—all you need is water! The cloud-like tool features soft fiber strands that grip impurities, so they don’t transfer back onto your skin. The water assists in loosening up all types of makeup so you can wipe your face clean without harsh rubbing or scrubbing.“
The next product within the ELF Mint Melt Collection is the ELF Mini Melt Brush Set, which is $8 and includes three mint coloured makeup brushes.
“Here’s the scoop: this trio of eyeshadow brushes makes it easy to expertly create all your favorite eye looks, from daytime color to seductive smoky eyes.
Designed for use with Mint Melt Bite-Size Eyeshadows, the set includes: a contour brush for controlled strokes, a blending brush to soften harsh lines, and an all-over brush to effortlessly swipe color over the lid. The limited-edition mint candy color looks good enough to eat (or at least display on your makeup counter).“
Then we have the ELF Mint Melt Whipped Face Mask 2.821oz / 80g which is $8, and packaged within a green, squeezy plastic tube. You simply squeeze the mask from the tube, and apply with your fingertips or a face mask brush to the face.
“Need a little R&R with an indulging treat? Then this minty whipped moisturizing mask in Mint for you! Packed with skin-loving ingredients such as willow herb and vitamin E, this mask will leave your skin feeling soft, soothed, an moisturized. This mask will have you smelling like a mint treat while leaving your face feeling cool and refreshed!“
This ELF Mint Melt Collection Face Mask is said to have a whipped consistency, that soothes skin with a fresh cooling effect. It also helps to leave the skin feeling moisturised and smooth too.
The second skincare product within the ELF Mint Melt Collection is the ELF Mint Melt Cooling Foam Cleanser which is $8 and packaged within a mint coloured plastic bottle, with a pump dispenser.
“Gently melt away the day’s makeup, dirt, and impurities with this gentle foaming cleanser, ideal for daily use and most skin types. The rejuvenating formula gives off a cooling sensation while cleansing the face. Your complexion will feel so (minty) fresh and so clean.”
The last product within the ELF Mint Melt Collection is the ELF Mint Melt Cooling Primer which is $8 and is packaged within a green plastic tube, with a pump dispenser.
“This gel texture primer multitasks to keep your makeup in place, moisturize your skin, and deliver a cooling sensation. It glides on silky smooth without that sticky feel and is bursting with skin-happy ingredients like hyaluronic acid and antioxidants, plus a refreshing vanilla mint scent.”
The primer sounds particularly interesting, and would be the product I’m most looking forward to trying, but overall the ELF Mint Melt Collection looks amazing.
I love that ELF haven’t done a half hearted three piece collection, and they’ve run with the theme to create a whole host of products. If you like the look of this cute, mint monochromatic collection, it’s available January 1st right here.
